Tuesday night at Afrikaburn was a very special one being able to play this set at the theme camp I was apart of. The dancefloor was high energy and everyone was very connected with each other and the music. What a privilage to play at Mirage.

Welcome to the set I played at one of my favourite camps at Afrikaburn 2023 - Mirage. The production and attention to detail at this stage was one-of-a-kind. 

This was a 1,5 hour indie dance and house journey on Thursday 20:30 - 22:00. 

What an honour it was to be able to share some of my selections at such a revered venue - easily one of my favourite sets to date!

Amidst the vast tide of fresh DJ talent rising up in Cape Town, Los Jetsons are among some of our favourites to emerge. As relative new-comers to the scene, one might be fooled into thinking that they are wet behind the ears. Not true! They show a maturity of ear in their selections seldom heard from fresh faces. Their selections are unusual, hard-earned and span decades of quality club music. 

While it's become all to easy to round up Spotify and Beatport top 100 playlists and call yourself a DJ, Los Jetsons are certified crate diggers; hell-bent on creating a sound unique to themselves. Something we feel shines through here in this seamlessly blended 66 minutes of delightfully cosmic, funked up disco & house jams. Viva Los Jetsons, Viva!

What started in 2019 was merely 2 guys sharing a passion for electronic music and all its various avenues. Fast forward a few years and you’ll find these two deeply invested in sounds of deep, indie, cosmic and progressive sounds, while still on the search for radical frequencies to add to their distinctive sound, also known as jet fuel. 

Fuse Bossie's relentless love affair with disco and house in all its forms with Burger's remarkable ability to find harmony amidst a multitude of musical landscapes, an extraordinary synergy emerges.

In the past few months they have been included in lineups alongside some of the biggest names such as Roman Flugel, Damon Jee, Thomas Von Party, Adam Ten & Mita Gami to name a few.  They've also had the privilege of playing at some of South Africa’s most sought after festivals such as Wolfkop Weekender, Billy’s Beach, Sexy Groovy Love, Pangea, Tropical Roast and Bazique. 

With a keen sense for sonic detail and a never ending urge to find those goosebump moments, these lads’ love for the groove makes it impossible not to move.
