The new Nazca Records release is a full-on, intense experience that will have every listener rock on the dance floor. The Swiss Sandhog´s latest work is the next musical gift for your ears. Together with Jenia Tarsol and Far&High, they have crafted fine melodies and rough beats that give birth to this next EP, “Helix”.
 
 Nazca Records was born in 2017 from the minds of Los Suruba. Today the family has grown, which makes it necessary to remember the full story behind what inspired Alvaro and Delmar to put this project together.
 In the same way the Nazcas made the Nazca Lines in Peru, to worship the gods and guide travelers towards Cahuachi, their socio-political center, Nazca Records and all its artists have worshiped music and used it to guide people's dance steps all over the world, almost 1500 years later. 
The Nazca are not the only characters to inspire this record label; the Viracochas also have a big say in this story. As beings of light that come from the cosmic future to admire and nourish from the Nazcas, they made possible the art, the crafts, and the rise of such incredible civilisation. 
Speaking of success, inspired by the beauty of the Nazca Culture, Los Suruba has organized for the third year in a row their event in the famous hippie market of Las Dalias in Ibiza during 17 weeks. This has been another year of interesting decorations, colorful sounds, live acts, and Nazca artists inspired by the unmistakable Nazcas and Viracochas´Memories of the Future.
 
The show must go on so, this winter. Nazca Records is planning to keep sharing the inspiration. This next five-track release is a big start. Counting with Jenia Tarsol for this EP, has been a great privilege. Just before this release he launched “Panic Attack” together with Echonimist on Afterlife and he is considered one of the electronic dance music scene’s most exciting new artist on the international stage. In 2019 Jenia founded his label Blue Shadow with his partner Chaim. 
Far&High are as special as the rest of the team, known for exquisite productions that you can find on labels such as Blue Shadow and Dynamic, to name a few. 

The “Helix” EP has smooth lines of the ethnic vibe so characteristic of the Nazca imprint, that Sandhog and his partners haven’t neglected nevertheless, this time, the beat and overall build-up of the record is rocky and dared. Don´t miss out!

Nazca Records’ next release plays with the enigmatic and the mystic. 
The two brothers form Brooklyn, Corey & Ryan Negrin, share their music under the name Wild Dark, presenting their fifth release with the label, making “Pleasure People” a reference that describes the fine musical lines that define Nazca Records. 

The Nazcas and the Viracochas, legendary beings that fuel Nazca Records, have inspired artists all over the world and from very different backgrounds, to make music for the soul and for the dance floor. 
The Nazcas made the Nazca Lines in Peru the same way Wild Dark takes on contemporary song writing and gives it a unique, thoughtful, modern-take using a wide spectrum of electronic music to tell a story.

“Pleasure People” EP is defined by minimalistic yet energetic drum patterns filled with raw sounds that evoke mystic shapes. The track that holds the EP’s name has great basses patterns, lush vocal progressions and main room melodic leads, while “Naked Spirit” has driving grooves, tight beat loops and inspiring synths that engage with every sound.

Después de nuestro closing de casi 3 horas el Domingo pasado en Acid Sundays, en el legendario mercadillo hippie de Las Dalias de Ibiza, viendo tantas caras sonrientes, rodeados de amigos y familias de padres con niños bailando y disfrutando de nuestra música, donde se creo esa energía única y especial de la que nos enamoramos la primera vez que pisamos esta isla en 1999, solo podemos decir GRACIAS de corazón.

What better way to kick off 2012 for Suruba than new productions from the label heads themselves. After a cracking year that saw Los Suruba release music with Noir Music, Darkroom Dubs, Eklektisch, Time Has Changed and of course Suruba and Suruba X, today the duo serve up a statement of their intentions for the year and deliver and tasty starter ahead of their first EP for Get Physical in February.   

Both originals present contrasting and fresh moments for the floor. Basslines lead the way accompanied by the fantastic vocals of Louisahhh!!!, Los Angeles-based New York artist that you'll remember from last summer’s: "Your Everything" by Danny Daze.   

Backing the originals is a remix from major iberian talent, Edu Imbernon. Although only 22, Edu has already lent his remix talents to The XX, Maya Jane Coles, X-Press 2, Paolo Mojo and Uner... and released his own work on more than 30 labels including Get Physical, Diynamic, Noir Music, Darkroom Dubs... and has been the youngest no.1 in Beatport’s history.

Los Suruba - Recuerdos del futuro (July 2018)

With international momentum, Tale and Tone continues the charge of releases featuring unique genre-benders with story and groove. With two collaborations, the Synergy EP is the result of great minds and hearts coming together in the studio.
The first track needs little introduction. Formentera has been a staple tune Lee Burridge’s sets - and has become the most train-spotted tune in Tale and Tone’s history. Not surprising, as this one is truly unlike anything else - a true original born from a collaboration between established artists Edu Imbernon and Los Suruba. 
The percussive groove is joined by sweeping arps and melodies that can touch the soul. Formentera is a pinnacle of production that shifts and elevates dance music, giving us a glimpse of what music can be.

This next release is a reflection of our current days. The world on lock-down has pushed our characters and artists to move forward and define their destiny. Through hard work, Los Suruba have managed to put together a new EP inspired by one of the last authentic corners in Ibiza, Las Dalias. 

Our characters, the Nazcas and Viracochas, have discovered another emblematic corner of the world. Las Dalias is the oldest venue in Ibiza, summing up 76 years of making history. In the 70s Pink Floyd used to throw is parties there making it, to this day a venue on the island to remember. Every Sunday, throughout the summer, people from Ibiza as well as our beloved characters have enjoyed the music delivered by Los Suruba, founders of the mystic label Nazca Records. 

The ‘En Las Dalias’ EP counts with the extraordinary participation of Santiago García, who has been an active member of this label as well as others like Innervisions. 

 This two-track EP is an avant-garde work of sound, a mix of organic and synthetic-like sounds that symbolize the strong relation and actual conflict between human creations and nature. 
Santiago Garcia´s interpretation of the track builds up in the same line, highlighting memorable horn sounds meant to attract us into this musical universe that so accurately reflects our reality. 

‘En Las Dalias’ EP is an ode to this new world we are experiencing, a reflection about the present, a firm memory from the future.

Our characters, the Nazcas and Viracochas, have discovered another emblematic corner of the world. Las Dalias is the oldest venue in Ibiza, summing up 76 years of making history. In the 70s Pink Floyd used to throw is parties there making it, to this day a venue on the island to remember. Every Sunday, throughout the summer, people from Ibiza as well as our beloved characters have enjoyed the music delivered by Los Suruba, founders of the mystic label Nazca Records. 
The ‘En Las Dalias, the remixes part 1’ counts with the extraordinary participation of Sandhog, a new face in the label and Wild Dark, who has been an active members of this label. 
 This two remixes are an avant-garde work of sound, a mix of organic and synthetic-like sounds that symbolize the strong relation and actual conflict between human creations and nature. 
‘En Las Dalias, the remixes part 1’ is an ode to this new world we are experiencing, a reflection about the present, a firm memory from the future.

We are living strange, particular times and, as we go through it all, music is still our best ally. The Nazcas, the ones that live through art and beauty and the Viracochas, beings from a distant world that blend and solidarize with us, know this. They´ve come once more to inspire the artists at Nazca Records to write history through electronic beats.

This next release is a reflection of our current days. The world on lock-down has pushed our characters and artists to move forward and define their destiny. Through hard work, Los Suruba have managed to put together a new EP inspired by one of the last authentic corners in Ibiza, Las Dalias.

The ‘En Las Dalias’ EP counts with the extraordinary participation of Santiago García, who has been an active member of this label as well as others like Innervisions. 

This two-track EP is an avant-garde work of sound, a mix of organic and synthetic-like sounds that symbolize the strong relation and actual conflict between human creations and nature. 
Santiago Garcia´s interpretation of the track builds up in the same line, highlighting memorable horn sounds meant to attract us into this musical universe that so accurately reflects our reality.

Suruba, or what in Brazilian means ´orgy´ is the word Delmar and Alvaro choose as an artistic name. An orgy of art that mixes music, design and fashion. 
The two met in 2000 at the European Design Institute in Madrid, and from that moment they became significant actors in the music industry. Delmar and Alvaro form this Spanish duo of music producers, record label managers, designers and old school DJs. 

Los Suruba has been enchanting their listeners for quite some time now with their mix of Psychedelic House, Deep, Minimal, and Techno Vibes. They define their music as Memories of the Future. 

Los Suruba managed to flourish four record labels each one with its personality, Suruba, Suruba X, Playa and the most recent one Nazca. This last one it's a unique project that links music with a fictional story inspired by ancient civilisations, the outer space, artificial and alien intelligence.

Awarded musical productions, tracks that have been in the top for weeks, a collaboration with fashion brand Marcelo Burlon – County of Milan, travelling all over the world are only a few of their achievements.

They have released with record labels like Crosstown Rebels, Diynamic, Sol Selectas, Last Night on Earth, Nazca, Get Physical, Culprit, Tale & Tone, not to mention being remixed by international artists like Solomun, Adriatique, Clarian, Eric Volta, Hot Since 82, Audiojack, Edu Imbernon, Santiago Garcia or Theus Mago.
