Electro-Cumbia Revolution A new sound in cumbia and a new project produced by JuanC of Bay Area's Cumbia Tokeson and Ecuador's Clo Sismico and also featuring the best Bay Area, CA, San Diego, CA and South American musicians! Puro sabor sabor sabor!!! 

Los Cumbiadelics is a project by JuanC Angulo that started during the Occupy Movement in Oakland in 2011. The series of demonstrations led by the diverse array of people of the Oakland community inspired a revolutionary theme in the music that was played with the collaboration of talented Bay Area musicians coming together to jam.

When JuanC moved to Ecuador in 2012, he brought with him the musical rhythms he was known for playing with Bay Area’s Tokeson and La Colectiva, one of the first groups to put cumbia on a map in the California’s Bay Area. In Ecuador, he immersed himself in the rich scene of Andean music and began fusing Colombian cumbia with Ecuadorian san juanitos, Peruvian huaynos (the key ingredient to Peruvian cumbia known as chicha) with an electro sound, and a touch of hip-hop and reggae dancehall rhythms.  This combination along with the explosive lyrics and driving rhythms has helped mobilize movements for political change and social justice at home and around the world. 

The band's first single, "Cumbia Revolution", from their album "Revolucion Cumbiera" features living legend of CHICHA Jose Luis Carballo, monster bassist Felipe Pumarada, Lion True of Spiritual Lyric Sound from Quito, The electro sound of Joaquin Hernandez of Cumbia Machin in San Diego, and the talented Ecuadorian rapper/recording engineer/producer/guitarrist Clo Sismico of Quito Mafia rap crew.
