As days are getting shorter and colder in Berlin, what better time of the year than now to move back inside and indulge ourselves in neverending nights.

For those who feel to "stick around for some more hours" to enjoy extended afterhours over the weeks and months to come, we invited Shuray & Walle to take over this month's episode of our podcast.

Shuray & Walle – on friendship, one passion !

Based in Leipzig with close ties to infamous night club Distillery, they radiate an atmosphere of community. An aspect that is often disregarded these days.

Their sound reminds of back in the days, when everything was about house music and special connections to the people around. It was this feeling that both of them shared while listening, what connected them while recording this podcast. 

Making a difference in what they do, while deciding what kind of difference to make. 

"Some groovy and deep pumping tunes for a great afterhour." is how both describe the mix they created... and a great afterhour that will be, no doubt about that! Running into the duo at Sisyphos Wintergarten some weeks ago is what many would describe as love at first sight.  

We say thank you to Shuray & Walle for this mix, are looking forward to seeing both of you again in the near future and hope that everyone out there enjoys the mix as much as we do!

Spring has finally arrived and Berlin is in full blossom once again. Time to bring in someone, who not only knows how to throw a good party, but is an absolute ace behind the decks himself. For this month's episode of our podcast series we are stoked to invite Thabo and warm all of you up for his upcoming 65h home again club festival happening this weekend at RSO Berlin. Something you definetly should not miss!

Berlin’s Thabo is not a new name in the city’s underground. After having built his reputation as a promoter, seasoned DJ, and prolific producer, Thabo reinvented himself as an artist. The Berliner, real name Nils Thabo Gelfort, changed his moniker to Thabo in pursuit of artistic authenticity.

Thabo’s authenticity is present across his house-oriented productions and DJ sets, which are often soulful, yet energetic. It is also apparent on his label, Home Again, which was launched in 2020 as a natural progression born from the beloved underground party of the same name. Just like the party series, which is aimed at creating the perfect house party, the imprint embodies Thabo’s vision of running a record label. Although Home Again is Thabo’s brainchild, the Berliner has teamed up with like-minded individuals to make sure that everything from artist and repertoire, creative design, events, to capsule collections is in line with the imprint’s ethos.

With several stellar releases and a roster featuring artists like Sandilé, Szafran, Thalo Santana, Subjoi, Leo Pol, DJOKO and Malin Genie, and Thabo, the imprint has quickly gained momentum, grabbing the attention of house heads in Berlin and beyond.

With a growing touring schedule and a number of releases in the pipeline, Thabo will continue making crowds dance with his uplifting house sounds for years to come.

Closing set at Organik Festival 2019 in Hualien, Taiwan. Last 1,5 hours was a b2b with Diskonnected. 

Picture this: A slow steep drive down through a narrow jungle path, 
the sound of distant ocean waves, frogs, and insects is all you hear until suddenly the jungle opens up and you've arrived at Organik Festival.

Located on a secluded beach on the Taiwan east coast facing the seemingly infinite Pacific with awesome mountain rocks and jungle kneeling to it. A beast of a brand new model Funktion One sound system tuned to perfection and a rare gathering of the most loving and kind people you can imagine. 

This is the spirit of Organik. Nature, quality, peace, and a big coherent mix of dreamy techno, ambient, experimental, house, and disco. Personally have I never experienced a better festival. Was such a pleasure and honour to close the festival on a late Sunday night playing after Dorisburg. I got around different styles and wanted to play a non linear set and instead take people on a journey. I hope you feel some of the festival vibe in the recording.

The last hour and a half my friend and Smoke Machine Taiwan resident joined me in a b2b showing a rare housy side of his palette.
