Having kicked off the new year in style, playing at LWE NYD at London's Tobacco Dock alongside Paul Woolford, Bicep, Huxley, B.Traits and Adam Beyer, Ejeca's already looking forward to the year ahead with the promise of an EP on Flash Recordings (Jan. 22) and a remix for Spanish label Suara (Feb. 1). In the meantime, we've got an exclusive mix from the Northern Irish DJ and producer to share with you. As with his own productions, this mix spans a broad range of house and techno moments; from subdued minimal tracks to peak-time techno bangers, and with a sparing use of colour.

Chasms formed in 2011 by Jess Labrador and Shannon Madden. This is off their second album for felte called The Mirage, it will be out February 22. The album marks a sonic shift into more minimalist, dub influence territory – lots of sparse guitars, tape delay and hypnotic loops. The album was recorded after loss for the duo -- both of Madden’s brother and a number of friends in the Oakland Ghost Ship fire, plus a divorce and relocation to Los Angeles. Mixed by Josh Eustis of Telefon Tel Aviv, mastered by Rafael Anton Irisarri.

Broken FM are a live hardware trio from Sheffield focused on improvisational electronic music. With only basic structures prepared in advance, each performance is unrepeatable and, with the bands influences ranging from drone and ambient via techno to jungle and hardcore, there is no knowing where things might end up. In the past couple of years the band have played acclaimed shows in support of Volte-Face, Orphx, Kerrie and Ben Pest, as well as becoming something of a feature of Sheffield’s No Bounds Festival's closing parties. They also have a forthcoming LP on Reykjavik’s FALK records In summer 2019.
