Swedish maestro @Opolopo has been a longtime favourite here at Le Visiteur. Whether he is crafting sublime house, exquisite Nu Disco or off the wall jazz edged house edits he's an artist who's production and dancefloor know how always shines through.

His latest project see's him hook up again with longtime label contact @Localtalk for Opolopo Tweaks a ten track compilation which see's him going to work on some of his favourite tracks from the Local Talk catalogue. The result as you would expect is rather brilliant, and sure to see the compilation capturing DJ's attention across the globe well beyond 2021.

Mike Slugs AKA Mike Tupak is a veteran DJ who has been putting in work across Chicago for many years.  His talent and taste has garnered him many residencies from the North to the Southside, and pretty much anywhere else in between where these qualities are sought. He got his start as a teenager, digging for records in his mom's collection, sparking his desire to begin his own library. Mike's sets have no boundaries and are heavily infused with funk, soul R&B & Latin rhythms. His ability to weave in and out of sonic landscapes will have any party undulating along to his beats.

Spring Mix

Here is the final installment in our MF50 series of live recordings from Mark Farina's all star jam at the Great Northern in San Francisco March 22 2019. After lighting the upstairs room on fire with an epic Mushroom Jazz set, Mark kept it going for another 2 hours in the main room picking up where Derrick Carter left up. It was such a special night and this was the capstone on the whole affair. Enjoy!
