В начале лета 2019 в пространстве московского клуба Mutabor отгремело 8-е по счету мероприятие нашей флагманской серии TEST. Именно на нем, в составе голландской делегации лейбла Clone, состоялось выступление прекрасной @Lokier, запись которого легла в основу 33-го подкаста System 108. Погружаемся в атмосферу того июньского утра на танцполе Medium, где в лучах солнца звучала бодрящая смесь из электро, техно и EBM.

In the early summer of 2019, the 8th event of our TEST series was held at Moscow Mutabor club. That’s where @Lokier marvelous performance happened, which was recorded for the 33rd System 108 podcast. Deep dive into that morning atmosphere on the Medium dance floor, where mixture of electro, techno and EBM cheerfully sounded in the sunrise.

Karlo Valle is a complex individual. Wild mood swings kind of guy. In a positive and creative way. As Lord Valle, he establish a fluid communication with his music allies, a group of modular synthesizers interconnected in a a very unique way. He asks, the group responds. Sometimes the answer is a 12 hours long message that in some point becomes a musical pattern. A track. An EP.

For “Speaking Eastern EP”, Valle worked with some old ideas, old dialogues between a man and some machines. The result, Minimal Electronic Music with a touch of Latin America. “Speaking Eastern” commands one to move, to dance and also to think. To imagine. Lucía Argut, a personal friend of Valle’s, speaks and laughs in “Triangle Love Affair”. Argenis Brito, also a beloved friend, works along side with Lord Valle for the first time. A big mexican electronic reference, Roberto Mendoza aka Panoptica adds his signature sound to “CV/KCV”. An underground Tijuana’s favourite, Mario Armanino, also shares his vision of Valle’s music.
