Since arriving in 2011—at the crest of an era overflowing with blissful synth projects—Luxembourg-based music producer Victor Ferreira (aka Sun Glitters) has earned a loyal following through consistent output, collaboration, worldwide tours, and festival appearances. With remixes for Purity Ring, Slow Magic, Blue Foundation and numerous others, and live support for the likes of Moderat, Son Lux and Gold Panda, Ferreira has quickly left a mark on the electronic music scene. Over the years, he has received glowing coverage from Dazed & Confused, BBC, Resident Advisor, Earmilk, XLR8R, Pitchfork, The Guardian and a bevy of other trend setting music outlets.

Ferreira can be found channeling the neon-noir of the 1980s (à la Drive OST and the videos games of his youth) and recasting retro-futurism under the ominous cloud of today’s digital age. With output that includes music releases, experimental films, and graphic works, his audio/visual projects push the creative boundaries and easily merge the roles of a music producer, video director, and graphic design artist.

Writes Ferreira about his upcoming new album: "SSofftt TToouucchh expresses my creative process, my mood, and my thoughts, which are always changing but seem to usually come back to my initial idea. Especially as these songs were done several years ago (2015-2016), but only completed now. I decided it was the right time to refresh them and compile them into a proper release. This also influenced the name of the album: SSoofftt TToouucchh. Playing with digital and motion collages was part of my process, inserting interludes in between songs to create short stories or chapters that speak to the years transpired since starting the writing process. I have always liked the idea of a wine spending years in a cave to develop its taste. SSofftt TToouuch has a nostalgic, soft touch to it, and my listeners will find that it relates back to some of my early material.”

An introspective collection of psychedelic modular synth led experimentations, ‘Bright Serpent’ is the new album by Kristian Shelley aka electronic musician Inwards. Electronic textures and rhythms rub up against manipulated recordings of real instruments, voices and field recordings to fashion transportive snapshots of an inner sound-world.

‘Bright Serpent’ is set for release on 10th April 2020 by Small Pond Recordings on vinyl, CD and digital formats.

Lost Idol is the musical alias of James Dean; producer, DJ and broadcaster. 

James' debut Lost Idol release appeared in 2002 on the highly respected Pork Recordings label (home to Fila Brazillia and Baby Mammoth). James then went on to establish the Cookshop imprint, releasing two critically acclaimed Lost Idol albums 'Brave The Elements' and 'Utters From A Cluttered Mind'. Both records showcased a highly idiosyncratic sound spanning electronica, ambient, psychedelia, instrumental hip hop and beyond, drawing critical acclaim across the board. In a live capacity, James utilizes vintage synths, effects and vocal looping to further enhance and expand his sound, and has found himself sharing the stage with Caribou, Fujiya & Miyagi, Pantha Du Prince and Dextro. An able remixer in his own right too James has appeared on releases from the likes of Pepe Deluxe, Flevans, Dr Rubberfunk, Ikon, Found and Zoon van Snook.

As an avid vinyl collector, naturally James has been DJ'ing for many years. From running his hugely successful Hot Mud club nights in London in the late '90s through to more recently playing at festivals such as The Big Chill and even flying out to New York to spin at the legendary Turntables On The Hudson party, James has always been known for his hugely varied taste and impeccable mixing skills. Aside from his party-rocking sets James also programmes and presents the Morning Glory radio show, which explores the many forms and facets of contemporary electronic-based music. From ambient tones and drones through to electronica, deep melodic techno to leftfield beats and beyond, Morning Glory explores all terrain - known and unknown, classic and unclassified. 

Currently James is working on his third as yet untitled Lost Idol album, due for release sometime in the not-so-distant future.
