I recently uncovered some of my old Minidisk recordings, and within them, this eccentric mix was discovered. It's from 2009. I think I intended to make this a proper mix, but didn't ever get around to perfecting it. Regardless, it's a fun listen. Choons were structured so differently back then. 

It's a mix of Glitch Breaks, Dubstep, Tech-Breaks, and Drumcore DnB. I intended to make it like chapters of a book, lol. Like, I said, eccentric, haha. It's definitely an interesting mix. It might not be super tight (haha), but it's an experiment that I think turned out pretty solid, regardless. Glad I found it. Enjoy it for it's nostalgic sense...I know I did. In hindsight, I wish I had perfected it. The potential was definitely there. 

Recorded on Korg Zero4 Mixer, Technics M5G turntables, and Serato ScratchLIVE/Cut Vinyl.

Risque.&.Mark.Sonar ALLFORM Down.the.Rabbit.Hole.LIVE 06.01.13

For many cycles around the sun I played under the moniker, Risqué. I started out w' Jungle/DnB in 1996, added UKGarage/2Step in '98, NuSchool Breaks in 2000, and Deep Dubstep/Future Garage in 2007. So, for over 10 years I was exclusively into broken beats. In 2008, I began dabbling with Chicago Jackin', Deep & Tech House, and Hardgroove Techno. As time went on I found myself gravitating more and more toward the House & Techno. Given that, I figured it was time for a change. I have since taken on a new moniker....... Lost in Pace. The moniker is a play on the title for a show my father and I watched all throughout my childhood, while at the same time symbolizing my journey through multiple tempos/genres. I think it fits me perfectly. I still absolutely LOVE all the various genres and will NEVER stop playing them, however, I mostly focus on Hardgroove/Hypnotic Techno and Electro-Breaks these days.

Again, I still LOVE Deep Dubstep, Jungle/DnB, Breaks, Juke, etc., so that part of me will never totally die. 

In the past I have played some big parties, and opened for some larger acts, but in recent years this has become more or less a passion project. I will never give up my LOVE for the music, nor the JOY for playing it......Dance Music All Life Long!!!!
