Hailing from London yet born in the northeastern region of Iran called Mashad, L&F’s life was a mixture of Iranian beliefs and values growing up alongside an ever- rich British London culture.
Growing up within Portobello market, West London, he was exposed to various music cultures through pirate radio stations, record shops, clubs and of course the famous Notting Hill Carnival.
“The British sounds were raw & gritty, it was a representation of The Streets, It was our identity & sound. It was a product of true multiculturalism”
Alongside DJing & his own productions, L&F founded UK garage label +98.
A label dedicated to forward thinking music and pushing the sounds boundaries, while ethically promoting true diversity and multicultural acceptance within the music scene through club culture.
