This time, the spotlight falls on Cypherpunx, a UK-based production duo comprising Douglas Horner and Tim Belcher. Since 2019, Horner and Belcher have released on some of the most esteemed labels, yet this marks their first collaboration with Early Morning.

One of those classics is AC/DC! The single has been delivering excitement on the dance floors since the beginning of the century, and it was about time to come up with an equally exciting update. Guy J managed to keep all the recognizable elements of the original track while putting his apparent sound signature present. It is one of those remixes where the involvement of the remixer brings exponential improvement, making it larger than life. The other part of this two-track release is no less impressive! Future is a masterpiece by Halo Varga from the year 2000. It was probably impossible to see the longevity of this piece of music while making the track. However, over two decades later, this classic is still relevant, especially with Guy J's hands on it.

People seem to get very excited about Lost & Found as a label. People also get excited by a Guy J Remix. So its time for some musical mental breakdowns of excitement as Guy J delivers 3 new remixes for Lost & Found, and boy are they remixes to be excited about. 3 monsters previously on Guys fine imprint, all given a whole new interoperation for you lucky people.

So first up, Guy J works his magic on Guy Mantzur and Sahar Z's monster 'Time To Treasure'. Adding beautiful warm textures, dreamy edges, but with a constant swaggering techier groove underpinning this groove, and it is a groove, not a breakdown in sight. Tasty stuff. Of course.

Spanish supremo Henry Saiz has been remixed By Guy before, and vice versa, and collaborations a plenty, so no surprise that Guy reworks a track for Henry, but this far from takes away any excitement that this gem will bring to both sets of fans. Think sunshine, think smiles, think dreamy warmth and a bouncy, almost 80s tinged vibe, and then triple it, and we're kind of in the right ballpark. Hot!

Rounding things off, a rare glimpse in to Guys tougher edge, as he takes on Pedro Aguiar - Ego Tripping. Solid and infectious is the way here, as this electronic slab of filth gently lulls you, gradually expanding as it expands in to a hypnotic teeth-clenching gem of filthiness.

‘Temporary Sanity’ first appeared on the critically acclaimed ‘Time’ (LF017) album by Guy Mantzur & Sahar Z, and has remained a standout favourite since the LP was released back in November 2014. Now, Cornucopia has breathed a new life into the track with a beautifully melodic, subtle, sun-drenched percussive remix.

Already a huge track for John Digweed, who loved it so much, he featured it on his recent ‘Live In Montreal’ (Bedrock) release. Since then, the demand has been steadily growing for Cornucopia’s remix to be released in its own right, so at last, here we have it in all it’s glory on Lost & Found.

Once in a while an album appears that is distinctly special and has the ability to captivate audiences on a global scale, breaking through simplistic genre boundaries and uniting people through its exploration of the psyche of modern electronic dance music. Guy Mantzur & Sahar Z’s ‘Time’ project was such an album, and it remains as captivating and enthralling today.

Guy J’s Lost & Found is riding high in 2016 with its flow of exceptional releases that now continue with an amazing new production talent coming out of the vibrant Argentinian scene. Kevin Di Serna makes his Lost & Found debut here with two gorgeous tracks. Fresh from releases on Alola, SexOnWax, Subtract, and (of course) fellow countryman and superstar DJ Hernan Cattaneo’s Sudbeat label, Kevin’s releases have been on Guy J’s radar for quite some time, so it was only a matter of time before Lost & Found’s main man would choose to release some amazing music that fits perfectly with the label’s ethos.

Fellow rising Argentinian star, Ditian, has teamed up with his compatriot on ‘Crystal Forest’ to create a beautifully melodic track with shimmering flourishes and a lovely, deeply hypnotic groove, which is perfectly suited to those wonderful summer sunshine moments. This delightful track is complimented by the deeper reverence and more laidback sounds of ‘Dallah’, which is an enthralling solo effort by Kevin.

Lost & Found is steadily building a catalogue of releases that are uniquely joyous, uplifting, intelligent and beautiful. This is music to hold close to your heart and this is a label that everyone should, most definitely, always keep on their music radar.
