Father Ocean" is the fulfillment of a musical promise to humbly thank and honor the powerful and cathartic depths of the sea. A tale of a man in need of guidance who is called into the water and gets caught in a magnificent oceanic storm. Rain starts to pour down, washing away his penumbra by bringing discernment about what is not Love. Meanwhile, the waves hit him fiercely like the primal confrontation with his own shadow, making up the perfect scenario for him to amusingly research the depths of his core.

By embracing his shadows and feeling the power of gravity on his shoulders, he understands he has been carrying the weight of his unconscious limiting beliefs. As they are brought to the light of awareness, they lose strength over him. This realization is so cathartic that the storm suddenly ceases, and the sun starts to shine again. As it always does... But this time it reminds him that, sometimes, Love shines brightest in the dark.

So, he found his way back to the land. As he steps again on firm soil, he looks back at the ocean and bows in gratitude and reverence for having found the guidance he so much needed within himself. He then makes a promise and leaves, knowing the path he is to take.

When listening to Ezio Aguiar's sets, regardless of tempo or genre, one notices a particular mysticism mixed with different organic, melodic and progressive elements.

He would call himself a believer in the healing and connecting power of music and dance. And if you have ever caught him dancing with his eyes closed behind the decks, then you probably understand why. Enjoy our latest deep story with Ezio Aguiar.

Wow, what an unforgettable night at the @zero_community Masquerade this past weekend. After a decade of being part of the ZERO crew, I'm in blown away by how this event keeps evolving and getting better every year. Endless gratitude to our talented team and the best crowd in the world. 

Here's the recording from my 6am Sunday morning set in the courtyard.

This is my special mix for Hot Situation's "The Bright Side". I started by diving deep in my library and finding cuts from before 2010, and then added a bunch of unreleased music from myself, Unders & Noraj Cue, and the Around Midnight label. It is a tapestry of my full sound and of tracks I've been loving at the moment. A journey through a melodic landscape framed by a special ambient cut I heard at NYC's beloved "Planetarium" music listening Brooklyn loft events. I hope you enjoy it!

Nature pacifies my mind and my soul. I can breathe deeply and let go. The oppressive darkness slowly recedes and warmth rises within me. Inspired by this energy, I glide through the forest. Only slowly do the first thoughts come to me again. This time, however, they spread confidence and even joy. The driving force behind this burgeoning hope is the four-four beat drumming out of my headphones. It is the rhythms and melodies that drive me forward again. My old friend, music, is back in my thoughts and that feels damn good. Only now do I realize how much this elementary part of my life has faded into the background. All the events have so consumed me that I could no longer feel the music. But now it's fighting its way back beat by beat and exuding its original magic.

Bringing people closer to joy through music is also the aim of our guest today. Embark on a journey through the bright side of being with the resident of the Berlin collective “Dit Klingt Jut” Maltech and enjoy the first gentle rays of sunshine of the year with a few well-chosen gems of electronic music.

3 weeks holiday in the Philippines, after wonderful days in the sea diving or sunbathing on the beach, we came to Nacpan Beach. Here I knew immediately that would be the location for the set. So the evening before recording, I started looking for suitable tracks for the location. The next day the time had come and the set was created at 32° on the beach in blazing sun. I hope you enjoy listening and feel the vibe <3

It was such an special day, with the first burn happening in the evening. The artcar was parked far out in the playa, making it a bit hard to find. Luckily Monolink spontaneously played an amazing set before us and with a 2  hour delay Oliver managed to join us just in time for our first b2b2b ever 🙃

Sonic Adventures #3

Lostboy Ludo is a musical artist whose influences come from all over the world. He started djing at a young age in the early 2000s in his hometown in Southern Italy. At that time the Caribbean Reggae music and Hip hop were the driving forces who motivated him to move to London, UK to expand his musical language. Being immersed in such multi cultural city and eventually enrol to study sound design in the English capital, it was only a matter of time before he would explore the ecstatic world of electronic music. After finishing his studies he moved to Australia in 2016 and it was in Melbourne that he found the sound that resonates with his heart and soul. His music spans from slower world rhythms to quirky mid-tempo with a pinch of synthwave nostalgia and upbeat tribal. His sets are composed in a unique way that take the audience into a musical journey of illogical equilibrium. He co-hosted an event in North Melbourne called The Lost Playground, a warehouse party with an underground twist. He is now active in the Northern Rivers circuit where he launched his latest offer called Reverie, a musical journey centred around sunset. Some of his festival appearances include Esoteric, Rabbits Eat Lettuce, Bohemian Beatfreaks and the latest being at Burning Seeds 23.
