Kaya Shirao was born in 1738 in Fukagawa, Edo, now part of Tokyo.

He ran a school in Edo during Spring and Autumn, but in Summer and Winter, he would move to the countryside to teach thousands of aspiring poets from throughout the Shinano province (now Nagano Prefecture). He's considered one of the first established haikai writers to help spread cultural forms from national to regional urban centers.

One can assume there is a direct correlation between the accessibility of electronic music and the age to which one is exposed. With electronic music being so heavily adapted into basic mainstream mediums - younger and younger people are finding their own passion in this little world we've helped expose & shed light to, causing the talent budding out of said scene to skyrocket and produce tracks and sounds once thought unfathomable. One up-and-coming producer who has made his imprint in the experimental, underground bass scene is Woolymammoth. The recently turned 19 year old and current student of LA based production school, Icon Collective, makes his Buygore debut today with his five track EP, titled Tricks, available for purchase via Beatport, iTunes, and Spotify.
 
'Inconceivable sound design' would be a fair assessment to describe this young producer's production madness; curating sounds one would seem unfathomable. Tricks perfectly display's Woolmammoth's attention to detail by each fleeting note. With low-riding bass lines, textured rhythms, and hints of the underground, these elements all combine to fashion an ampifier-wrecking EP. 

Mind you, Tricks is not for the faint hearted; bass lovers, sit down, relax, and let Woolymammoth take you were no experimental artist has gone before.

Well hello motherfuckers. We here. All of us are here, for the first time ever. All ready to kick ur fucken ass (with sound). Putting this shit together felt like wrestling an alligator on who wont hurt you but you'll get really tired trying to manhandle it, like its just fucking with you and knows you cant win. But we did and then some, as in, we fucken skinned that bitch and culled its family.

Putting this together with a deadline, actual art, theme and build took an effort not yet known to man as we all drag each other kicking and screaming toward victory. 12 creative artists actually working together on a corporate style project with a strict deadline, i know right, it's like something out of some shitty stoner james franco-seth rogan flick but it isn't a movie it's real and it actually worked out. All that is missing is a love interest but we will let the fans sort that out, oh shit man also we want to call you either "sons n daughters" or "dogz" if you follow our shit and also we aren't a collective any more we are a "clan" apparently.
