Growing up in Cali (Colombia) Angaro developed a passion for collecting and sharing music, with salsa being a strong influence from an early age. After relocating to Berlin in 2001, Angaro has been deeply involved in the city's renowned club and festival culture, absorbing its diverse musical trends. As a key figure in the founding of Nie Wieder Schlafen, Angaro plays a crucial role in orchestrating and managing the brand's various events.

As a refined selector, Angaro enriches parties with his energetic sets that encompass a range of deep, afro, and tech-house beats. His natural aptitude for reading the audience enables him to craft dynamic performances that guide the crowd through a myriad of groovy, melodious peaks. He has performed at well-known clubs in Berlin such as Burg Schnabel, Anita Berber, KitKat, Mensch Meier, Alte Münze, and The Yard, as well as in clubs in cities like Lausanne, Tübingen, Medellín, Cali, and Cartagena. Additionally, he has showcased his talents at events like CSD Berlin, Garbicz, and Burning Man.

Angaro enjoys the opportunity to play extended sets and after hour parties, where he can explore eclectic mixes that span various electronic music genres, including latin-tech, indie-dance, house, disco, and melodic techno.

We've admired the way @joe-miller approaches his podcasts for a long time so it made sense to ask him to work his magic with Kiku. He weaves tracks together with such complexity and confidence, creating brief moments of brilliance with unexpected pairings. All 26 tracks from the album feature within the mix, some for a couple of minutes and others for just a few fleeting seconds. His blend of Kiku is a diverse, frantic trip that takes you down many different directions and avenues.

3 QUESTIONS to dOP:

Q: Going through your mix shows a lot of different styles. How did you guys meet once and how did you connect to make electronic music?

A: We are childhood friends, we start hanging together when we were 13 years old. We started our first band at this time. We always dreamed to make music as a living. We were already passionate and sharing music. We connected to electronic music after meeting Nicolas Sfintescu, one of the founder of Circus Company and Noze, who initiated us to electronic dance music.

Q: How did and do you spend your times off this year due to the pandemic?

A: We  took time to recover from almost 15 years of intense touring. Finally have more time to take care of ourselves, spend time with family and friends. Try new recipes, do some sports, read books. All these nice things we had no time to do the last decade. We just get both 40 this year, our mind and body needed a break anyway.

Q: Which future dOP projects are currently in the making?

A: We composed a lot of new music and starting our next album that will be a collaborative project with all our close music friends from all over the globe. We never ceased creating.

For several days, we were writing a long text for this set about how important it is to ask yourself a lot of questions and find answers for them. Then @jonathankaspar sent us his three-hour mix, and all our questions and answers faded away. We truly want all of you to feel the mental connection we feel every time our artists send us the sets and we listen to them for the first time.

Jonathan Kaspar - "Kottenforst” for RAMBALKOSHE

The enigmatic Swedish duo have gradually shed their cloak of mysteriousness to become familiar faces on the international scene.
Since the birth of Elfenberg in 2017, Viktor and Henrik’s tunes have established them on both charts and festival lineups across the globe. The Swedes have also become key members of Oliver Koletzki’s Stil Vor Talent family since releasing their first EP with them early 2018. Elfenberg can not be defined by any genre but by a steady groove created in a primitive soundscape. A sound that embodies constant motion, spiraling into whatever creative vision the duo have in mind. In September 2019, they became proud owners of their own imprint, ‘Trampoliner’.
