The invisible magnetic force of Music connects us. We are accustomed to always have access to Music. It is naturally part of our way of life. Just like the electricity in our homes. Our brain works better when listening and the stimulation of frequencies inspire new ideas. They give us visions of the future and memories from the past become more clear. It replenishes our spirit and keeps us young.

Oxygeno returns to Soma for his second outing on the label with the deep, dark and hypnotic, ‘Catharsis EP’. Soaked in his typical atmospheric sound design, the Spanish born producer still keeps things tough, driving yet minimalistic, throughout.

'Ambivalence' opens the journey with pumping 909 drums against a stripped and steely rhythm. 'Catharsis' goes even deeper as modulating synths create a twisted soundscape. 'Dirty Mind’s syncopated synths hooks are the core of another pulsing and atmospheric trip. 'Enigma' leans off more dystopian vibes as hypnotic drones ebb and flow across the track. Closing with 'The Demon Inside', Oxygeno strips it back once again whilst delivering on attitude with earth shaking rhythmic elements are dark, foreboding synths.

El productor milanés, conocido por sus lanzamientos en Mord, Warm Up, Semantica y Non Series, firma aquí un track diseñado para el club, pero cargado de profundidad emocional.

"Destino" despliega una rítmica tensa y contenida, que avanza con determinación sobre una arquitectura sonora minimalista y envolvente. La energía es hipnótica, casi ritual, envuelta en texturas sutiles y un pulso constante que seduce desde la primera escucha. Es una pieza que define el enfoque de Viels: precisión quirúrgica al servicio de la pista de baile.
