He is a sound designer & modular wizard, you will find him on labels like Sonic Groove, Aufnahme + Wiedergabe, his own MEGASTRUCTURE_, Ant-zen, Total Black and his distorted soundscapes enrich collabs like DRAX RESPONSE, KONKURS, HAKAI, AVM & IMPULS CONTROLS.

Noise-driven techno, industrial and traces of EBM characterise his sound but even through this wall of distorted synths and glitchy beats, he still manages to keep you on the edge of your seat and like his bio states: somehow magically make your feet tap along or, at considerable volume, rave. Mateo Hurtado makes his debut on Subsist Records with The Tyranny Of Light, an album in which the Swiss producer mixes dark and spatial sounds with different rhythmic structures.

Mateo Hurtado is a composer who develops his works from modular Synth obtaining a wrap-around finish. As a result of a melodic complexity, this release maintains an introductory beginning with slow and marked rhythms. An evolution that gradually increases the tension without leaving behind the initial modular enveloping melodies.

Being a music nerd since his early youth, he got into listening to electronic music around 20 years ago. After several years of practicing all by himself he started releasing online mixes around 2011.

In 2015 he launched https://soundcloud.com/nemorousrecords together with Anja Zaube and after that played a few selected gigs at events like Apathy at Grießmühle, Tokonoma in Kassel oder Smallroom in Bielefeld, sharing the decks with artists like Talker and Oake.  

In 2017 he finally started his own brainchild https://soundcloud.com/voidanceberlin , so far releasing 4 EPs and 2 tapes and hosting 2 showcases in 2019. Voidance Records deals with the darkest strains of the electronic music genre, hosting new as well as established artists like Meer, Chafik Chennouf&Katsunori Sawa and Llimbs, to name but a few. 

Dim Light‘s musical influences range from all different genres like Ambient, Black Metal, Electroacoustic music or Techno, which also reflects in his sets.

"The Way You Were Made" is the Polish producer NATT's introduction to Amek Collective and his second solo release after a debut mini album for our partners in crime Zoharum. Spanning over eight brooding pieces, this dark and melancholic electronic offering is simultaneously bleak and beautiful. NATT throws us in a sonic world, shaped by gritty field recordings, heavy-weight bass drones, melodies soaked in desperation and synth debris.
The music is clearly an interpretation of a very personal narrative, but its traces are subtle and non-imposing. Everything captured in "The Way You Were Made" does not make you feel unreal or detached from reality. On the contrary, NATT's music is inhabiting our very own world. It is, however, interested in exploring the shadows rather than exposing itself to the sunlight.

The Picatrix is the name used today, for a 400-page book of magic and astrology originally written in Arabic under the title غاية الحكيم Ghāyat al-Ḥakīm, which most scholars assume was originally written in the middle of the 11th century, though an argument for composition in the first half of the 10th century has been made. The Arabic title translates as The Aim of the Sage or The Goal of The Wise.

Picatrix is a composite work that synthesizes older works on magic and astrology. One of the most influential interpretations suggests it is to be regarded as a "handbook of talismanic magic". Another researcher summarizes it as "the most thorough exposition of celestial magic in Arabic", indicating the sources for the work as "Arabic texts on Hermeticism, Sabianism, Ismailism, astrology, alchemy and magic produced in the Near East in the ninth and tenth centuries A.D.
