SOS Colombia V/A Part II "In absence and violence of the state. People unite and self-organize" is a collective cry of the electronic music community to denounce the police brutality in Colombia given in the protests since 28th of April and raise awareness about the danger of social leaders and activists working towards defending human rights. Up until today there has been registered by the NGO Temblores: 2905 cases of police brutality, 43 cases of murder, 26 cases of sexual abuse. 

This compillation continues the campaign to raise funds for Ngos working for the defense of human rights and self-organised initiatives.
 We want to support, especially with the income of this release, to self organized initiatives as independent journalism and NGOs registering cases of police violence such as :

We first heard Lucas Marchal (dc11) on his web channel where he shares modular videos, working with very precise and deep modules including verbos, buchla red panels, random source and many other brands. We immediately thought his tracks would fit perfectly on the label so we asked him to cook something up for us.

The 4 tracks he sent us were recorded during the beginning of 2020, straight from the modular with no post processing apart from mastering. At that time, he focused on hypnotic, minimalist and heavy loops on his modular while taking inspiration from Joe Roberts’s psychedelic paintings.

The release name “Immersion” reflects exactly the feeling you have when listening to the tracks, black hole loops, evolving psychedelic textures driven by strong and groovy bass will guide you from beginning to end.
