I was always in contact with music in different ways, but in 2015 I took it seriously and started mixing. 
I created an audiovisual project that featured local DJs and then organized parties that were well known regionally. 
In 2018 I start producing. That same year I released my first EP and from there it was a learning path. 
Edit on stamps from England, Spain, Germany, Italy, France, Greece and some other countries. Recently, I released music on Subsist Records, Dynamic Form Records and two LPs on Diffuse Reality; One in February and another to be published in November of this year.
Currently with Joel Pulso we carry out the self-management project Histeresis (@histeresisrecordings on instagram), where we carry out recording, mastering, graphic presentation and packaging services in cassette format.

We are delighted to celebrate our second anniversary with the danish dj & producer CTRLS (Token Records).

Hailing from Copenhagen, Denmark, our next guest is the mighty CTRLS, with a history in electronic music dating back to the 2000s.
Since a few years ago though, he has been delivering top-notch, no-nonsense techno under his CTRLS alias for Token.
He spent the last 10 years producing, performing, engineering and dj'ing various electronic genres around Europe and beyond. 
Troels continues to develop his fast paced and futuristic style, seeking out the various nuances of techno and the surrounding genres.

Susanne Kirchmayr aka Electric Indigo, born 1965 in Vienna, Austria, works as musician, composer and DJ. She started her career 1989 in Vienna, lived in Berlin from 1993 to 1996, founded the database and network for women in electronic music and digital arts "female:pressure" in 1998 and has received several awards in Austria and Germany. Her debut album “5 1 1 5 9 3“ was released on Imbalance Computer Music in spring 2018. Electric Indigo shuttles between Vienna and Berlin.

✈ We are delighted to welcome Berlin based dj and producer Jamaica Suk.

Long musician and experimenter, Jamaica Suk has fused her jazz and metal roots from the Bay Area California with a feel for soulful techno, a combination that makes her at home leading driving dancefloor workouts across Europe. With her own vinyl label Gradient and accompanying event series, atop extensive activity as DJ and producer, she has found in Berlin a platform for the breadth of her musical versatility.

In her signature distorted melodies and hints of melancholic bass guitar, you might hear where Jamaica started – studying bass guitar in her teens, play-ing in jazz and grindcore, math rock and shoegaze bands, before getting deep into the Bay Area’s house and techno underground. Jazz musician by day, DJ by night, she quickly became established throwing monthly parties at 222 Hyde Street and in grimy area warehouses. Technology was an early passion, too, including completing an Audio Engineering program at San Francisco’s respected Pyramid. That combination of technology and musi-cal chops, meeting with an intuition for minimalism and repetition from Reich and Pan Sonic to techno classics, perfectly set up the move to Berlin.

Lost In Ether | Podcast #179 | Rommek

After great podcasts in 2016 (with Aimee's violin) and 2019 (as Torn Relics) we are happy to share with you the third mix of Rommek exclusively recorded for Lost In Ether!

BIO:
As a well-established artist, Rommek has creatively expanded in his own sound, as well as having caved his way into the current techno and experimental scenes. His extensive interest in sound design is crafted within the dense atmospheres, heavy broken drums and dynamic tones found within his productions.
The London based producer released his debut 12” 'Thought Patterns EP' on Weekend Circuit in 2014. Since then, he’s released music on Leyla records, Methodical and in 2016 he joined the seminal Blueprint Records.
After various releases including “Moth Hole” “Arcane” and contributing to the 20 years ‘Structures and Solutions’ compilation, he gained a wide range of noteworthy support and grew within the blueprint family. In 2018, Rommek completed his most establish work to date, the ‘Set In Stone Trilogy’. The three part release compromises of 12 tracks, original and remixes from key members of the Blueprint team, James Ruskin, OVR, Broken English Club and Makaton.
Torn Relics, the experimental project between Rommek + Aimee Mullen was formed during 2018. Together, they utilise a range of classical and electronic instruments to create a rich and twisted sound pallet, mixing cyber-punk electronics with tribalistic rhythms. Their debut EP, The Poisoned Chalice, released on Sacred Court, featured a remix by label owner SNTS. In 2020 Torn Relics – Abolish The Dogma 8-track Album was released on Leyla Records. From this, it’s clear that Rommek is driven to continue expanding his capabilities and keep things moving forward.
