Sorcery is the next artist debuting on our Artaphine Series. Intense drum work accompanied by drone and ambient works fill the latest album Mirrors of Perception, released on Bedouin Records. His creativity is not bound to music alone, He's also directing video clips and generating visuals through artificial intelligence. Something he has done for his latest A/V show.

Sorcery has been so kind to send us the live/set recording from this A/V show at COMPOUND on New Years Day, sharing the lineup with Silent Servant and Regis.

Hurtado is a young Spanish artist based in Berlin. After almost 10 years in the scene, his musical proposal can be defined as a symbiosis between past and future, highly influenced by the Birmingham and Eastern European scene, full of broken and forceful rhythms. As a producer, he collaborated with the likes of Regis and together with one of his best allies, UVB , he forms the duo "Education Club".

The energy of the room got me hooked and locked in the zone as few times before.

When I found out that my friend @jason.etal had recorded almost the whole set in his phone, I couldn’t resist and I decided to include the voices and everything was happening live (in the background) as part of the recording - the raw vibe of the room.

Shoutout to @voicedrone , @jamesnewmarch , all the artists of the night, the UNFOLD crew for making it happen and of course all of you who made it so special!

MPak es el seudónimo de Sergio Barroso, DJ, productor y fundador del sello Dynamic Form, basado en Sevilla. 

Como dj ha conseguido convertirse en una figura clave de la escena local, compartiendo cabina frecuentemente con artistas internacionales como Oscar Mulero, Adriana Lopez, Sven Vath, A Thousand Details, Ribé o Quelza entre otros... 

Es residente de uno de los clubes más importantes de la ciudad, Prisma, además de haber actuado en salas como Cosmos (Sevilla), Florida 135 (Huesca) o Palác Akropolis (Praga), donde ha conseguido destacar por sus sets cautivadores que fusionan ritmos rotos y atmosféricos con el sonido industrial de Birmingham, sin dejar atrás sus influencias con el electro y el break desde los 12 años, creando una energía caracterizada en la pista de baile.

Como dueño de su propio sello, MPak ha forjado una reputación por su excelente oído para descubrir talentos emergentes, logrando que los lanzamientos de artistas poco conocidos se posicionen en plataformas como BeatPort. Su sonido sigue evolucionando, combinando texturas profundas y experimentales con influencias industriales, manteniendo siempre un enfoque distintivo y refinado dentro del Techno.
