Bio:
Lewis Fautzi, whose real name is Luis Gonçalves, was born in 1991 in Barcelos, Portugal. 

Luis spends most of the time in the studio and he is so prolific that his productivity could only benefit from actually sleeping there. He's full of ideas and is driven by a huge will to create, innovate and make his mark on the electronic music scene.

He started deejaying and producing at an early age and has so far released work on labels such as his own Faut Section, Soma Records, Soniculture, Resopal Schallware, Labrynth, Slap Jaxx or Spark Musik.
In recent years, he has been in the lab listening to the finest techno from all around the world, taking in influences from the 90's all through to nowadays, which allows him to create his own interpretation of all those styles. The dance scene in Portugal, especially in the north, was his motivation and helped him to kick-start his career, allowing him to have a fuller and more meaningful understanding of techno and electronic music.

As a result of his constant evolution and search for his unique sounds, he recently created his very own live show. A hypnotic show where techno goes deep, dark and industrial, transporting you into an amazing electronic experience.

BIO:

Fabrizio Rat - La Machina
The idea is simple. Take a piano, the classical and romantic instrument par excellence, and throw it into the hypnotic and powerful soundscape of techno music.

Pianist of Cabaret Contemporain and Magnetic, Fabrizio  toured through the festivals of France and Europe in the past years. 
His solo project started in January 2016 with an EP on Optimo Trax and a live show few months afterwards. A video of the live has buzzed on the net and the ‘technopiano’  has became a real phenomenon in underground techno.

The force of human repetition, the imperfection of analog machines transports the public into an hypnotic state. A performance of this kind has rarely been seen in clubs. The right hand is the sequencer of the ‘technopiano’, the left hand is the dj who handles drum machine and bass and mix everything. Who really is the machine it is hard to say.

The piano become a giant synthesizer played by hand and is ‘prepared’ (modified) with objects and techniques DIY (e.g. scotch tape and patafix on strings). The sound is then transformed to go beyond the romantic clichés often associated to the instrument.

Fabrizio Rat - La Machina sign with Involve his new Technopiano EP produced exclusively with piano, TR909  and TB303. The result is an hypnotic trip mixing addictive prepared piano riffs with sounds of acid techno.
His new album will be released in may on the label Blackstrobe by Arnaud Rebotini.

‘’La Machina is my love story with the machines which created the sound of techno music. These machines are far from being  ‘perfect’, they almost have feelings I believe, and they behave unexpectedly and unpredictably sometimes. This aspect makes them unique and impossible to imitate with computers. 
I realized that I had lots of things to learn from these machines, drum machines in particular (the 909 above all). I thought that by studying and trying to discover their secrets I might have been able to push to new boundaries my ‘machine’ from the very beginning, the piano. A piano made of strings to scrape, damp, hit, to escape  the romantic cliches often associated to it. 
I want to play like machine, but with my human energy which adds something different to the repetition process.’’

Droughtwerk is Berlin-based combination of artist and label.

From dub techno to deep melodic sounds mixed with percussive grooves, Droughtwerk approaches music production with the goal of remaining timeless, soaking in the influences of a city that simply lives and breaths techno.

Droughtwerk was basically two longtime friends that met in the scene ages ago. Always interested in each other's sound, checking out what the other one is up to at the moment. A couple of years ago they began to work together on some little projects, "it felt good right away“, that’s what they say today about that chapter. Somehow, sometime later, Droughtwerk was born. Lots of meetings in the studio followed, making music, having a lot of fun while just talking ideas about the future. Always evolving and developing new soundscapes to get deeper and deeper into the genre. After the first two EPs, one half of Droughtwerk decided to spend more time with his kids and works, since that decision, in the background of the project. Since 2020 the "DROUGHTWERK“ label is making itself known, focused on fully analog produced 4 track EPs pressed on vinyl.
