V SOCIETY - WINTER MIX 2018

Indecent Noise and Lostly recently debuted their new LIVE collaborative show 'Lost IN Noise' in 2018 with a few select festival and special performances. With Lost In Noise set for a far busier year in 2019 its only natural that music coexists with the performances.

Cosmic Spirit is the first official release of the Lost In Noise project and its breathtaking. Its majestic, psychedelic and yet still fuelled by the essence of tech trance. This is a sure fired, peak time track no bones about that.

Howdy Disco Citizens!

I enjoy all types of dance music, but love DJing classic trance, progressive trance and progressive house from 1992 onwards.  I fell in love with Trance music after visiting Goa in 1999. Dancing on Anjuna Beach at the legendary Shore Bar Party at the millennium was an unforgettable moment! When the DJ played my all-time favourite tune, Leftfield's Space Shanty, it was a truly euphoric experience!

I am still a vinyl only DJ - just me, 2 decks, a mixer and a pile of bouncy tunes!


 When I started clubbing at the start of the 90's my DJ hero was Billy Nasty - religously watching him destroying the dancefloor every time he played at Aberdeen's legendary Skank, especially at the infamous All-Nighters. His choice of throbbing Italian & Euro trance stompers, and his awesome DJing & mixing style was a big inspiration for me.


Favourite DJs include Bryan Kearney, John O’Callaghan, Indecent Noise, Alessandra Roncone, Mark Sherry, & Simon Patterson, but my favourite DJ/Producer currently is Lostly, especially his 303 mayhem with Indecent Noise- the fantastic Lost In Noise

My  favourite artists & remixers from back in the day were Paul Van Dyk, Nu NRG (  Giuseppe Ottaviani  ), Donald & Giles, Mauro Picotto, Mario Piu, and a lot of early Tiesto/Ferry/AVB productions & remixes( Major League, Vimana, Gouryella,  Moonman, etc).

 My favourite record labels are Vandit, Monster, BXR, Black Hole, Nebula, Liquid,  Xtravaganza and ATCR. Back in the day I loved Limbo, Guerilla, Jackpot and Platypus.

 My top five dance tunes are :  Leftfield -Space Shanty. Havana - Discorder, Yello - On Track,  Gouryella - Tenshi, Major League - Wonder.

Some of my favourite live DJ sets include PVD's legendary Gatecrasher Essential Mix, Lost In Noise at Luminosity 2018, Tiesto at Trance Energy, Nu NRG's awesome Orgasmatron, Neptune Project's Mexico FSOE set - a truly fantastic experience! The most inspiring live DJ set for me is PVD's seminal Simon's in Gainesville set from 1997 - almost 4 hours of bouncy, driving trance that still sounds fantastic today, and completely changed my musical and DJing direction!
