Amphibelle is the title track off @Futexture's 4th official release, and first in 4 years, forthcoming September 13th via @aquaticcollective.

A further refinement of David Krantz's aesthetic explorations, the sound design heavy 6-track EP explores tense unfolding glitch landscapes through a melodic, jazz-like approach to bass music.

Inspired by a strangely lucid mental mirage of sound while standing in a stream in the Appalachian mountains, writing the album was an attempt to reverse engineer and transcribe that weird little transcendent moment in nature.

Profits from the Amphibelle EP will be donated to Amazon Frontlines to help provide clean water and rain catchment systems to families in rural parts of Ecuador and help the Secoya tribe buy back ancestral land they were forcibly removed from with the intent of conservation and on-going protection of the rainforest.

Based out of New York City, she has spent the last several years quietly expanding upon her production, composition, and engineering knowledge. The producer’s patience has paid off with a musical bounty worth it's weight in sub bass. Drawing from the font of psybient influence, each of the four tracks is a boisterous dance of pulsating frequencies. Glitchy harmonies and high-processed synthesis turn each moment into a downtempo tango between the visceral and the effervescent. With an obvious inclination towards arrangement and general musicality, the EP is a testament to an intrepid work ethic. It was really cool to incorporate my Mongolian heritage into the music through the use of the morin khuur (the Mongolian fiddle) played by my long time family friend Khongr, a very talented multi instrumentalist. Also, the traditional Mongolian long song singing style was sung by Suvda, transcending us further into the worldly composition. Suvda has performed at a few of the Kalmyk Youth Coalition events in the past, playing a crucial role in preserving the Mongolian culture in our community. The fusion of the traditional elements and modern production was something that Mike @thebusinessmusic and I utilized to capture the textures and atmosphere in this composition. The song is about the massive global shift in everything that is happening right now. It is a vulnerable space for all of us and it is important to cultivate love and compassion during these chaotic times. Stay soft and strong, everyone! We got this. ❤️
