The Digital Connection

Astronox Festival in Texas, October 2022. A rare thing occurred - I got to play a two-hour closing set at the end of the insanely inspiring lineup of Saturday night, before a morning sound break. There are some major wiggles in this set, of the crunchy/glitchy variety, in keeping with the flow for the night. Ending with some gentle touches, like a sonic hug.

Shambhala  2023 - Su Casa Mix

This is a live recording of my opening set to celebrate my good friend Treavor Moontribe's 50th birthday. The evening took place at a Moroccan-themed restaurant in Hollywood, and Treavor played a 4-hour set after mine, so we were able to really dial in the flow. 

I've been collecting some tasty slow house music in the last few years without any real place to play them, and this set gave me a chance to flex that muscle a little, toward the end of the set. I had fun with it.

This compilation and our collective voice moving forward will focus on sound system and audiophile quality music and events. BIG GUY little guy (aka Anton Tumas and Treavor Moontribe)live at Subtract On The Pier is over 4 hours of deep electronica bliss!!! This set was played to set up the incredible DJs Sabo and Goldcap on a day that ended up being the most packed show on the Long Beach Pier to date! These events present a unique opportunity for this duo to showcase their vast range of musicality by playing deep ambient and building up from downtempo to mid tempo deep house and tribal sounds. This set is downright sexy and is one to close your eyes to and get lost in atmospheric soundscapes! Enjoy!

Summertime pool parties - one of my favorite settings for playing music. This set was recorded at the tail end of one such party in 2018. The music had been more energetic all day and I started playing as the sun was setting, while the host started up the fire pit and the last of the revelers gathered around, not quite ready to head home yet. Gentle beats with a little more emotion.
