Bristol-based, vinyl-only imprint Sex Tapes From Mars continues its voyage through the cosmos of underground electronic music with Suburbia head-honcho, Cam Stockman. 

His latest EP, “All Juiced Out”, is a raw, hypnotic four-tracker, and deep-dive into the world of vintage analogue synthesis, acid-drenched basslines, and sensual vocal hooks - a bold statement from an artist unafraid to push boundaries.  

Opening with “Dreams In The RS,” Stockman sets a sharp, pacey, retro-futuristic oxymoron tone, blending dreamy swirling pads and bells, with driving, squelchy rhythms.

The momentum builds and bellows with “Chicktikka,” a frenetic fusion of skittering percussion patterns, infectious bass grooves, and sexy vocal cuts. 

The evocative “Useless” offers peak time energy, with its shadowy atmospheres and bubbling synth tinkers, before the EP culminates in “The Acceptance Speech” a euphoric and deeply layered finale that encapsulates the full space-age emotional spectrum of the release.

After videos circulating of raresh and Ricardo hammering most of the ep in one of there legendary b2b sets at fabrics birthday and other big names spinning it throughout the summer of 24’ it’s been highly anticipated by those in the know. 

The record starts with the stunningly crafted ‘bigger’ with a lovely mix of subtle electronics and warm pads. A2 ‘ode to e’ is a breaks piece of dreamy tones and vocal patterns. On the heavy and darker b side the naughty bass of ‘quartet’ heads b1. Built for an attack on the floor with its vocoder driven rhythm. For the b2, One of raresh’s weapons of 2024 ‘bra sett’ its ever changing and switching layers is an energy boost to any dance floor!

Premiered here, "Human", by Italian producer Monica Venturella, is a mesmerizing piece that showcases her unique ability to blend emotional depth with intricate production techniques. The theme marks her debut on Outdom and is a captivating exploration of the human condition, despite the “alien-like” atmosphere, characterized by its haunting melodies, pulsating rhythms, evocative soundscapes, and acid gait. The KAPOW!!! vocoder lines cannot go unmentioned. Venturella's masterful use of texture and atmosphere creates an immersive listening experience that is thought-provoking and embedded with high levels of danceability.

The first Barcelona Megamix came together almost by chance - a happy accident. It all started with an invitation to collaborate with a label from northern Europe and showcase talent from my hometown, Barcelona. What happened next exceeded all expectations. The response was massive. Having top DJs like Laurent Garnier supporting the release was incredible, but when Carl Cox took it viral, it was on another level.

So, of course, we had to do it again. And now, here it is, Barcelona Megamix 2. The vision remains the same, but this time, everything is bigger, bolder, and more refined.
