The first EP from the Sundanese-Australian collective Lotekno - a project of musicians and artists dotted around the world -  starts out with a blistering bamboo suling solo from Dimas Firmansya. Complementing this traditional Indonesian instrument is a rich bassline and a gamelan-inspired chord progression, intricately woven from Sundanese flavours by Anomie. Detroit-style drum-machine programming by Ruffles, further refined through Marrickville warehouse party sound, gives this single its final unique touch.

Lotekno's debut single is an eclectic statement piece, representing a fresh voice in cosmopolitan electronica. This innovative collaboration promises more to come in the ever-evolving world of music.
