Rozenkratz - Aytos (The Nest #1)

It&#8217;s time to celebrate our 100th release here at Pornographic, and what better way to do that, than bringing our friends over and having a blast. Opening with label boss Cristian Varela&#8217;s quirky &#8220;Ghost Bassers&#8221;, things quickly shift to dubbed-out territory with Gabriel D&#8217;Or &amp; Bordoy&#8217;s rendition. The Advent &amp; Industrialyzer are frantic as usual and Eric Sneo brings the tribal sensibilities to the table. Hollen&#8217;s bass-heavy affair passes the ball effortlessly to Axel Karakasis and his trademarked sound, while Steve Mulder nods firmly to the classics with &#8220;Paradox&#8221;. Alen Milivojevic rolls out another stormer and Paul Darey &amp; Hannes Bruniic stomp their way through the rubble. Adrian Oblanca&#8217;s sub bass and tasty edits prepare for the sealing of the deal and Dart. Darkman&#8217;s sleazy bassline brings it home.

More paranoia is introduced as mangled riffs and vocal snippets take over.Moving on to "Phantom Power", we are delving into the depths of technological hell with a pummeling groove and tense atmospherics that create a thick, impenetrable mist. Frenzied stabs and cavernous effects lead the way towards the underworld, with ease.

Sasha Carassi returns with a thumping and hypnotic piece. The groove is relentless and the pace is just right, creating a must have for your techno arsenal.An additional version is put forward by Jason Fernandes who alters the feel, creating intense pulsating pads and synths, accompanied by an extremely addictive groove. As winter leaves us behind, STG provides this massive release for 2012.

Spektre and Christian Cambas team up once again to bring their "Drums Of Navarone" to Kombination Research.The rhythm section of the original mix grinds away in style, while old school chords add some anthemic flavor. The whole affair is activated by the pulsing sub bass that never lets up, and the drums are, indeed, in effect.The Advent & Industrialyzer remix is a stomping rendition, stripping things down to the bare essentials. Things get even more monstrous with stab manipulation and custom sonic artillery from the two legends.

Redhead's aptly titled opus hits hard on Kombination Research and unfolds layers of shadow play.The original mix comes straight at you with rolling sub bass and crackling percussion that is just waiting to explode. Dismal effects are interspersed throughout and, in combination with haunting synths, provide a chilling disposition.The Advent & Industrialyzer spit out a looping monster, with dislocated patters chewing away in style.The militant bass holds everything together, while mutating hi hats just add more tension to this cyclic epic.

When quizzed on his motivations behind his latest studio album, The Advent stated I wanted to do something quite personal for this first album and delve a little bit into the past to get inspiration from my influences to make an album that reflected all the musical genres I have been inspired by over the years electro, electronica, tech house - not just the techno tracks. Future music from a past master, made for the here and now.

Three forces have come together to form the &#8220;Brick House&#8221; EP on Kombination Research, which serves as a testament to the grind and menace that emanates from these three collective personalities.Relentless beeps fire away from a rollercoaster of industrial rhythms, while frantic sonars rear their distorted head above the crushing drums. The ride continues into the AD_IN remix of Pt. 2, where mangled chords make their appearance and dissonant effects are sprinkled over the rolling affair.

The label boss The Advent teams up with Spiriakos and they deliver a great release for Kombination Research. The original mix of 'Point Of No Return' is a smooth techno production that builds early on with some nice beats and some subtle effects. Filterheadz deliver their remix on the flip and maintain some of the quirky vibe in the drum work.

The label bosses The Advent and Industrialyzer team up with Hugo Paixao and they are releasing an excellent EP on Codeworks. Kicking off this EP is the title track ‘Mutant’ which creates a big chunky affair full of dark beats with smooth percussion on the foreground. A very nice and intense production with smooth string getting along. ‘Twisted’ follows, featuring stabbing and rolling deep basslines mixed up with nice and melodic riffs. Can be better than that? Three excellent producers getting along and they produce two techno anthems for Codeworks. Enjoy
