Got the basis for this one when messing around on an old guitar that only had three strings. Was faffing around and decided that this would be a great idea to try out my new (but still laughable) recording setup. Enjoy.

On Three Strings

This is one of the first things I recorded with my shiny loop pedal I got at christmas. Its the main guitar part from a decemberists song looped, reversed, stuff played around it, unreversed, more stuff played on it, then reversed again and some fx on it (maybe, I can't remember exactly..).
Edit: Dear god at the hum, and the horrible EQ... I'll mark this work in progress and put some EQ fixes in later... I should really start listening to my shit before I upload it

 I recently set my laptop back up with ubuntu studio so I'm making shit again. This one feels kinda background music-y, perhaps as ambient in a podcast or some shit, I don't know , I just kinda like.

Quartet One WIP

A WIP render of Kittiwake from my in-progress Aviary Suite. Based on the call of a kittiwake. I plan for the end section of the piece to be my take on a traditional scottish jig, the current content is mostly placeholder.

A contemporary classical piece written for a composition course. Based on the OEIS sequence A226593, which is "Period of longest sequence generated by recursive permutation of permutation pairs of length n". I don't understand it either.

A short contstructed soundscape, made of material from a series of recordings made on the Isle of May, Fife, Scotland, and the first verse of the folksong The Sea, originally by Barry Cornwall (1787–1874). Vocals recorded after midnight, so are a crappy placeholder so I didn't wake anyone up
