Its been a full year since I moved down to the big LDN and its been a rollercoaster of highs and lows. 

I'm grateful for the people i've connected with down here. The EPIC fam, shared incredible memories with you guys and sure to be many more. Dedicate this mix to y'all.

You may find them quite similar to the original versions, because my only goal was to make them easier for me to play during gigs, with an outro beat replacing the 
fade-out ending typical in this kind of music.
Sometimes, these edits can be quite simple to make, but other times, they can easily become a headache when the original song does not include all the elements necessary for the edited version. 
In some cases, I had to reconstruct the beat, using sounds and effect from software.
I also worked on the tempos of the old songs to make the beat more regular, but I always tried to make these changes as gentle as possible, as if the song has been recorded that way.

Created in the summer of 2007 by Montreal-based dancer/motivational speaker Luca “Lazylegz” Patuelli, ILL-ABILITIES™ was an all-star team of differently-abled dancers whose goal was to compete in the breakdance competition circuit, showing the world that anything is possible.

The crew gets its name from the standard in hip-hop culture of using a negative term to refer to something positive. Examples of this can be heard in studios or at competitions where dancers compliment each other by saying they were bad, nasty or mean. The “ill” in ILL-ABILITIES™ does not refer to “sick” or “unwell” but rather to incredible, amazing, intricate, talent.

Rather than seeing the negative limitations of “disability”, this crew focuses on their positive, or “ill”, abilities.

 

Once they started performing together, the dancers of ILL-ABILITIES™ quickly realized their potential to inspire audience members with their positive attitudes and unique dance moves so they expanded their goal.

Today, ILL-ABILITIES™ spreads positive thinking by sharing their stories with motivational entertainment programs and theatrical dance performances worldwide.
