Wow! It's been a long time since my last cover. But I'm excited to release this long-awaited version of the end song from one of my favorite shows of all time: Steven Universe! I had the incredible honor of meeting Aivi & Surasshu last Magfest in February, and since then I have wanted to do a cover of one of the many fantastic musical numbers from this show. And as an added bonus, I got to work with some of the studio musicians from the show on this cover! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

She was stuck up, snobbish, pretentious and prudish. I would mock her music, but half the time, I can barely hear it anyway. And a bowtie? Seriously?!

The emotions in the series are always running so high! And honestly, my favorite thing about my headcanon with these two is that they share a sort of love/hate relationship; barely tolerating one another's idiosyncrasies with infinite puckishness. I've been a bit down in the dumps lately and so, I stave it off with this bouncy number. Honestly, it's not quite like anything I've ever produced before. Electrodubswing? Oh dear...
