Following up on my cover of 'The Rumbling' with Micah Martin, is my new cover of Under The Tree from SiM. This anime & these songs together have been such a huge inspiration to me, I love them both so much & after having so much fun remixing The Rumbling I knew I needed to do another remix! As soon as I heard Under The Tree from the same band, I knew I needed to remix this one as well! Anyways, HAPPY HALLOWEEN & HAPPY ALMOST AOT RELEASE DAY! It's about the desperate and passionate desire to be comforted, understood, and loved.

July has always drawn inspiration from music infused with the atmosphere of the '80s, the romanticism and poignancy of melodies and lyrics, and the sounds of analog synthesizers and drum machines. The influence of iconic bands and musicians like The Midnight, Yota, Morgan Willis, Duett, and others, as well as the sounds of films from that era, are vividly reflected in the arrangement of the song, creating a unique retro wave atmosphere.
