Zombie Walkers

Let yourself be carried away by this digital sound, a nod to the pop years, which rehabilitates the original meaning of a word : woke.
(a)woke(n), a term that ultimately designates nothing more than a state of being conscious, in contrast to the nothingness personified by the zombies who move blindly in numbers and always in the same direction.
The mobility of thought is a reaction to their mechanical discourse.
It is necessary to maintain a state of wakefulness in order to reduce its deleterious effects on future generations.

Now I know

One can hear Lou smiling whilst singing about given and received love that builds resilience.
Inspiring love, which changes the way we look at the world.
Soothing love, which allows us to resist destruction while offering the prospect of building a life worth living.
Sometimes with a childlike whistle, sometimes with the reassuring redundancy of a phrase, Lou relates love as an enhanced version of oneself and the world.

Lower pressure

In Lower Pressure, contrasting guitar arpeggios and skanks invite us to take a step back.
The distance is seen here as the only way to reconnect with true sensations to respond to the enigma that is life by adopting a slightly more singular view of the world.
It's all about making choices at every moment to trace one’s course whilst achieving the lowest possible pressure.

Right from the start, the opening bars set the tone, rumbling as if from the depths of a cave, then the melody takes on the allure of a concession to the ordinary, as if to reach the greatest number and deliver the question of commitment.
What could I do for my peers? is as hypnotic as an endlessly repeated mantra, questioning our inertia in the face of global chaos.
Meanwhile, as the question remains, the realm of the possible opens up.

Out of step

This last track is about taking a step to the side by accepting to withdraw oneself for a moment.

Adopting the stance of the observer and being out of step means resisting the injunction to react immediately thus in accordance with expectations.
It is deliberately placing yourself as a grain of sand in the gears by introduicing slowness as a variable and acknowledging the conceivability of a wrong note due to its mere existence.
