This was a track I had from a while back. I was sitting with a lot of missing parts, and I was finally inspired to finish it. I feel like it came out really well. I’m really excited. This is definitely different style, more Lofi to me than anything. But it’s very super excited to share it with everyone. Hope you guys enjoy. This is about our modern day state, referencing Hangtown, a boomtown from the gold-rush era of California and the following cycle of boom to bust, repeating on in history as technology and greed take over and exploits our natural resources, both human and environmental. My third album “SAKAMOTO” is about searching and how to deal with this life. These are the overarching themes of all the songs on the album. The album title is inspired by one of my son's favorite animes, “Nichijou”, where there’s a talking cat named Sakamoto. And it’s also a tribute to one of my favorite composers, Ryuichi Sakamoto. 

The album is a collaboration with Italoconnection and on this LP we have worked on further developing the sound of my two previous albums.
