Epic Karma Dramas

I’m standing observing
And sometimes swerving
These bullets that are flyin
As people are cryin
While caught up in dramas
and karmas,
Which constantly harm us.
 
All I’m hearing’s  “love and light”
From those who just fight,
And, try as they might
to convince me they’re right,
I can’t help but bite 
chunks out of their plight,
That,
so and so’s wrong
and doesn’t belong
to this spiritual throng
that I sing of in song.
 
so, who makes the rules
and who makes the fools
of all of us here?
because its perfectly clear
that none are immune
from the doom and the gloom
of falling upon your own sharp sword in your spiritual tomb.
 
From glass houses you throw stones,
At those sat on thrones
Which really's no more
Than a seat on the floor,
When it makes more sense
to get off the fence
and pull the splinters from your arse
and ask,
who here has not fallen short 
in the estimations and connotations and
who has not been sold and who has not been bought?
Now there’s a thought…
 
An idea that’s fraught
With self defamation, derision and collusion,
Which holds up your world and self delusion:
That your shit don’t stink
And your guts ain’t pink
And do you ever really, stop and think…?
Or just take the poison and drink
And live life on the brink,
of insanity?
 
This herd mentality
Stops you being free,
When you join with gossips causing 
character 
fatalities.
Ask yourself
are you so free
from personal
calamity?
Or do you not see,
the tragedy?
staring back at ya
In your morning mirror
Before you have your toast and tea?
 
Are you whiter that white?
Blacker than black?
Carrying perfection upon your back?
A heavy load
Weighing you down on this spiritual road
As you try to decipher this mystical code?
 
I might be so bold,
As I start to get old,
To see there's no real value in gold,
As economies fold
And we are all hung out to dry in the bitter the cold.
Standing around,
As we’re hearing the sound
Of our hearts hitting the ground
With the realisation
That tho truth’s been found
Its distorted by those who fuckin clown around.
 
So, you may ask,
Why is this fairy
Being so lairy?
And so carefree
And speaking such words we find so hurtful and personal,
is she persecuting me? 
The so-called enemy?
 
I don’t wanna annoy ya
In your deluded paranoia
as you arm yourself with aura zizz machines,
crystals, magic wands
and GM free soya.
 
Wake up and smell the coffee,
You’re beginning to bore the shit outta me,
When ya talk bullshit and bollox
thats got nothing to do with me
or you,
or anyone else,
this bitchcraft should be left upon the shelf.

With the lack of mustard,
And the division and derision
From all quarters,
so called supporters
for droves and roads
and bones 
and places we call home,
Hold the phone!
I’m not yet done!
I’ve only just begun!
 
Don’t stand in the ring
And sing
About peace "Hand in hand"
And bring
Your fakery and false niceties
While all the time...
 
summising and despisin
Your bitterness and jealousy
mean absolutely shit to me,
As its eating up your integrity,
leaving you
totally
emotionally,
mentally and
spiritually 
empty....
Your spirituality is empty...
 
So you try to impress me,
At all the fancy dress meets,
All-equally-inside-a-mess greets,
Can't admit or confess freaks
Because its clear to view
whats all around you
Your gob and body may fool you to,
But the light you shine
or shadows you cast
Are finally visible to all at last.
And now I see friendships fading fast,
Your ships wont sail with a broken mast,
as you stand upon that precipice,
so vast…
 
This purplefairy getting lairy,
who seems accusing and is refusing
to budge,
from her opinions 
and dominions,
Is not here to stand and judge,
She’s here because this world is wasteman,
Full with people with a bitter taste and
Vengeances and rotten blood,
who really, really, really should
Know better and display,
that real love is really the only way to go
Not this “love and light” on show
Of which I keep hearing,
Which fuels the pain that is searing
At our souls...
 
And filling our bowls
With empty deeds, actions and swearing.
No!
Real love, the love that I know,
Is that love which accepts people need to grow,
And have compassion, and positive action,
and the wherewithall to accept those, 
who are on a go-slow-journey 
to find their mojo...
 
I’m the first to admit, I’ve been in the shit,
I’ve messed up,
blacked out,
fucked up,
caused a fuss
made dramas
And karmas
That damage all of us.
I’m standing here today,
to remind the world there is another way.
Go home, and listen
to the words i say...
 
And when you are in cyberspace,
remember that the pace
Of life still flows,
And what you say online, still goes.
And colours every single one of our tribe
To that world outside
That continues to deride
And chide,
Everyone who goes along for the ride,
as they diss and take the piss,
For everything we believe in, 
Because there's no true unity within.
 
Fuck

He’s a tramp,
Upon your head he will stamp,
There's a fuckwit with a spirit so damp"!
 
Make your peace with your sister
and your brother,
And remember people that we are each other.
And the dirt you see and every inflection 
in others is but your own 
imperfect
reflection.
 
And if you find my words are hard to swerve,
Because they have hit upon a nerve,
Then Bloody Good!
I'm getting thru,
To those,
who chose,
to call a rose,
another name,
In this bloody stupid game,
we call
“Aim and maim"
at anyone we see who gets a bit of fame!
Its lame!
Its your insecurities you need to tame!
You only have yourself to blame,
Because
we're all the bloody same!
 
So listen up to this Bardic Poet,
As she stands here and says,

There is no them and us,
Just the “us” who do not yet know it.
 
I real love everyone under this shining sun,
And now my song is almost done being sung,
you see that
My great big heart is your proof,
when you find me so intolerably uncouth
for

Often sung by my friend Pixi Morgan who is sadly no longer with us. When I sing this I can still hear something of him in my head. Pixi inspired me to play.
When I sing this, its not my voice you hear, but my heart.
My friend Pixi, who was an accomplished musician in his own right, and he gave me one piece of advice about singing, and he said, just sing and be the song and what will come out of your mouth however strange will be your heart singing. Your heart has wings and it flies out.

He helped me find my voice in a way.

I have learned ( mainly because its a chord family I am familiar with)this song, in a tribute to a musician who not only inspired, but also taught me so much through his playing.
My friend who used to play this, Pixi Morgan used to play this. He had a soul-full and rhythmic quality to his playing that also picked out such delicacy in his pick style, that as a guitar player, I always find it a challenge to master such handiwork.

DRUIDS SONG

The Oak Knower, Wise One and Speaker of Trees
Understands the ever present rustle of leaves
And hears the song whispered upon the breeze
Of the Ancient Wise Ones in the living Wood
That would walk across land if they ever could.
The roots that hold them in their sacred place,
The Oak Knower sees in a timeless Space,
And hears the song of the whole human race,
That the Trees have heard from everyone’s face.
The Oak Knower sits in a silent repose,
And listens with a wise heart, ears, eyes and nose,
To the Song of the Trees telling of the demise,
Of the cold and the cruel who betray with lies.
Forgiveness and Patience is the Gift of the Wise,
Less the heart and the soul are deafened with cries,
Of the Innocence of Life that has been battered and torn,
And left a heart rent with pain and a soul left forlorn.
The Trees when they speak and sing without words,
Are the Song for the Knower, the Bees and the Birds,
And the Druid who sits beneath branch and bow,
Ceases to question with why, what and how,
But sits in the stillness of with their back against trunk,
And imbibes on the stillness until they have drunk,
From the deep of the Heart of the Wise Knowing Oak,
And cracks wide with a smile at the Great Forest’s Joke.

DRAWN SWORDS AND SHEATHED WORDS

In the Spaces between our thoughts and breath,
Where our hearts beat to stave off Death
There lay the weapons and shield of our defenceless soul
And the many hats we wear to play a role
A Bard once said, “All The World is a Stage”
And they were no stranger to Love or Rage
And a Heart though torn and rent with pain,
Will one day, heal and love again.
The Mind sets vengeance of the Soul’s demise
And Jealousy, and  Rage seep out of the eyes
When the Spirit is still and the Mind is weak,
The heart loves more still for it is meek.
And so our Swords and Shields will rattle,
As the Mind enters into a bloody battle
That the Heart has already won and lost
As love is nothing more than ghost.
And so to pick up keyboard, pen or quill,
When the spirit has become very still
Is to have seen that the Bard must work
And put to sleep grief on alert
And Speak with Truth for lessons give
In tales of love lost in a sieve
That Children hear and learn so well,
The Tales that the Bard must Tell.

And pray that we fit like a hand in glove.

Seek not that which binds and ties the soul aloof
Seek out the love, for it is the only the only truth
And in finding the love we score a divine goal
To swim in the love with the rest of the shoal

Lovers of Freedom and Lovers of Truth
Lovers in bed and under one roof,
Lovers of art and of dance and of song
Lovers of Love know Love’s never wrong.
Lovers of Nature and Lovers of Sun
Lovers of Oceans and Summer’s begun,
Lovers of Food and of Wine and of Song 
Lovers of Love know Love’s never wrong.

The greatest of Loves is the love for the Self
When life has been cruel and left on the shelf,
The most beautiful creation in the Life we adore
Is the Love that keeps giving and always gives more.

So when ships have sailed and sunk in the storm
And the Love keeps us sailing to shores sometimes forlorn
Remember that Love is the raft on which we all float
And Love does not mind and Love does not gloat

Because Love is the air and the life that we breathe
And Love is in everything that we can perceive
With clear eyes, and a nose and heart so entwined
Love will never ever leave any dear soul behind.

Lovers of Justice and Lovers of Law
Lovers of God and Lovers of More
Are Lovers no less than the Lovers we are
And Lovers of All have found the Heart Star.

Lovers in Heart and Lovers in Hand,
Lovers who stand on the shores in the sand,
Lovers who greet with an embrace and a kiss,
Are Lovers in Time and Lovers In Bliss.

Lovers of Rain and Lovers of Trees,
Lovers who fly on the wind and the Breeze
Lovers of Flowers and Lovers of Birds 
Lovers of Lovers know Love’s Eternal words,
Lovers of Family and Lovers of Home
Lovers of all that we have sown and have grown

THE ART OF NOT GIVING A FUCK

On day like today when you feel out of luck.
Learn the Ancient Art of not giving a Fuck
When your fucks have run out and the field is bare
You see that the Universe is sometimes very spare
Spare with the ones who will maim you and hurt
Spare with ones who will treat you like dirt
Spare with the ones with their betrayal and lies
And spare with ones in a Joker’s disguise
Not giving a fuck does not mean you don’t care
Its means you survive when no one is there
And it means that your judgement is as dry as a bone
And it means you are content to work at it alone
It means you discern though the wisdom of soul
It means that not everyone will share all your goals
And it means that the Foolish who have just done a bunk
Cannot understand why you are in a funk
So not giving a fuck does not mean that you’re bad
Not giving a fuck means you were’t grateful for what you had
Not giving a fuck means that you know coming along
Is that sometimes your soul needs to sing a new song
That a new day is dawning and the birds they will sing
And you ain’t going round like a washer in full spin
And you come to place in the stillness of heart
And you know you’re not lost and you know where to start.
So I don’t give a fuck if it hails or shines
And I don’t give a fuck if the field’s full of mines
And I don’t give a fuck if you like me or not
And I don’t give a fuck because I’m all that I’ve got,
And I don’t give a fuck if I fail or succeed
Because I know that The Universe provides all that I need

The Art Of Not Giving A Fuck

RIGHT ABOUT THE WRONG THINGS
AND WRONG ABOUT THE RIGHT THINGS.

Its seems to me that the Coin is two sided
And while the experience is often derided
With Angry words that are bitter and chided
The Words of Love get forgotten in Pain
Are remembered as it subsides and are felt again.
In gratitude we learn a little more each time
As layers come off in a poetic rhyme
And deeper we dive into the love Sublime
And rise to find that Eternal Ladder to climb
The Journey is a Spiral and the straight line
Is nothing more than the illusion to find
Winding its way on an ever present incline
And dipping again in a steep decline.
This ride, the rollercoaster of all that we feel,`
About being Right but on the Wrong wheel
Is naught but grinding the sword on the steel
To keep the Ship on an even keel.
Storms that rage and clouds that pass
Are only a vision of the half full glass
Of the Light and the Dark in an impasse
As we shout at the dogs to keep off the grass.
In time and grace the Wheel turns about
We see we were Wrong to scream and to shout
And the Right things of which we were Wrong,
Are sung about campfires in the Learned Bard’s song.
