This song is a true Finnish classic, originally called Paratiisi, and written and performed by the legendary singer/songwriter Rauli Badding Somerjoki (original lyrics  he wrote together with a famous Finnish poet Arja Tiainen).
I always thought this song deserves to be heard by non Finnish speakers too, in its whole glory. 
I happen to be very lucky to have met Ari Jaakko Savinainen, who wrote and recorded the awesome  music track, that finally gave me a reason to finish the English lyric I had been working on. It was not an easy job, as the original lyric has this very dreamy, magical feel to it. 
I wanted to keep the feel, ad the story, though ofvcourse  it was rhythmically impossible to translate from word to word.
We are quite pleased with this piece of work, hope you like it too. And maybe it will make you curious, so you will get to know more of Badding´s songs in the future.
Rest in peace Rauli Badding Somerjoki. You are always in our hearts.

Im from Melbourne Australia, I have been playing guitar for many years now and played in two bands during the 80's & 90's (STOLEN CAR original) & (STORM cover),both bands never released any material. Since 2010 i have been writing songs and tunes and recording them in my music room (3rd Bedroom), i play Guitar, Bass, Keys, BFD2 Drums(programmed)and Vocals on all of my songs which i class as Demo's, I love all types of music but Hard Rock, Rock to Alternative appeals to me most.
