Anoyaura( An Hiv / Aids Orphan's Lullaby) [feat. Southern African Languages]

LouCee.R is a Zimbabwean born singer/songwriter based in the United Kingdom. Her love for singing and performing arts began in Primary school days,but her passion  for communication and people led her to  lead her to pursue  studies in Teaching and Modern Foreign languages.She  speaks Shona, English Ndebele and French fluently, and has a basic level of Spanish. She describes herself as having a musical ear for languages, a skill she carries  into her music." If my ear takes to a language, give me an hour  with a song in a language I don't speak ,I may not know the meaning of the words,but I will  definitely sing it for you. 

At the Catholic Chaplaincy of the University of Kent, she has coordinated the choir for  African mass since 2007, learning,then leading the singing of songs in the following:  following:Nigerian  Yoruba,Igbo and Ijaw,Ghanaian Twi, Ivorian Baule and Dioula,Kenyan Kiswahili, Ugandan Lunyakore, Congolese Lingala, Zambian and Malawi's  Chinyanja and Chichewa, South African Zulu,Xhosa and Sesotho,Mauritian Creole and in French.

She has worked as a backing vocalist for a variety of groups in Kent.Her music is versatile with a fusion of a  variety of genres ranging from pop Afrojazz soul, alternative to indie. She brands it Nengoma, derived from the double musical  meaning of the word "With a song" In Ndebele or with a drum in Shona.
