Piedra y Raíz es el segundo single promocional del tercer álbum de Derrok, nuevamente con la colaboración de un músico invitado. Esta vez es el turno de Sebuky, talentoso productor y multi instrumentista ecuatoriano quien en su paso por Pucón en el último verano aprovechó de visitar a Derrok para hacer música y compartir de las bondades del sur de Chile. Él viajaba con enormes bolsos cargando un arsenal de instrumentos andinos y caribeños, los cuales fueron utilizados en su mayoría en la grabación de este single.

Piedra y Raíz is the second promotional single for Derrok’s upcoming third album, having once again a collaboration with a guest musician. Sebuky is a talented Ecuadorian producer and multi-instrumentalist based in Spain, who gathered last summer in Pucón with Derrok to make some music together and share the beauty of southern Chile. He was travelling with a heavy arsenal of Andean and Caribbean instruments, being most of them used on the recording of this single.

Welcome to episode 035 of the #microsession podcast. This time we have the pleasure of having @hatsandklaps mixing this episode.

Deep Tides

Born in Nicaragua, based in Costa Rica. He is an experimental artist, who fuses hypnotic electronic sounds with organic sounds. He takes you on an immersive journey full of soundscapes, textures and bass frequencies with a lot of groove.

His journey began in 2012 as the opening act for Dash Berlin & Steve Aoki in Managua, Nicaragua and 2013 opening act for Funkerman in Granada, Nicaragua. In that year he produced songs between Progressive House, Tech House and EDM that were released on labels like Far Away Recordings (DMG), Hutman Records, AcropolisRPM, Twisted Plastic, Red Drum Limited, MadRat Productions and Nicaragua Groove Record. He became the youngest Nicaraguan producer to be signed by record labels. 

In 2015, he graduated from Electric Bass and Band Ensemble at the Yamaha Academy in Bansbach, Nicaragua. Together with Rigoazulado formed Cultura Café, their first band. with Rigoazulado. In 2018 he recorded and produced 3 EPs and 3 live sessions with Jorge Herrera, forming Souvenir. In 2020 he becomes the official keyboarder of the renowned band Monroy & Surmenage, being in April 2021 the band XVth Aniversary's Festival his last concert. 

In 2022, Loudwing arrives in Costa Rica for the first time. Ocaso 2023 is his first stop, an event that marked his artistic and cultural vision. After this experience he begins his studies as a Professional DJ at the prestigious school DJLab, directed by Esteban Howell, where he connects from the first day, finishing the course in December, month in which he was Awarded a Scholarship for the Career of Music Production, currently studying.

He has collaborated as a musician with artists such as Ceshia Ubau, Garcín and Ximena during his stay in Costa Rica. He created the project 'Sesiones en la Casa', which consists of projecting the feelings of Latin American songwriters through an audiovisual production in an intimate format, such as the kitchen of your house. 

Together with Kala and Monserrat Cabrera they form Ventus Sound, a collective and artistic concept that analyzes and interprets how sound connects and transforms where we come from, who we are and our ability to connect with people through music. Migration is the main focus.
