History lesson. Hitler rose to power, after his party failed to win the biggest percent of the vote to Hindenburg's part(who hated Hitler), in the relatively new unified German country that just got its butt kicked, and the public thought the German politicians betrayed Germany. After the loss, the political unity that held Germany together, stood the chance of falling apart. So, Hindenburg, against his preference, appointed Hitler second in command, then Hindenburg died, Hitler assumed Hindenburg's office, and shut the door behind him. Hitler wasn't elected, he was appointed because of a very vocal minority, something like 22% of the population. So it didn't even take a majority to horribly mess stuff up, it took a minority and one old guy's logically made bad choice.

Long hours? Long hours? 40 hours a month, is 10 hours a week. 10 hours a week. That is an ultra part-time job.
