As they continue with their commitment to really put the German city on the map, the focus remains on driving forward an already passionate electronic music scene. And although Kompakt may be the most well-known electronic entity in the area, HOOVE are the ones holding up the house flag.

"So about the Ep, Circus has been on one of our bucket list labels for like forever. We had the honour of playing with Yousef 4 years ago , we exchanged details and we got to work. It was literally a no for 4 years but we managed to get a break last year.

Taking things more melodic in our production we kinda expanded what we did on our last truesoul ep. Shadow Hills was the first yes (named after the famous mastering compressor) jon taking the time studying music theory pulling out some interesting progression and arps. 

Chaos Theory was a brain child from the past always wanting to nail a menacing brass section track the hook came by mistake , but sometimes that's how the best ones happen.

Kimba is a fresh faced new kid on the block. He began his musical journey in late 2016, daring to dream, he followed his musical passion and began his quest crafting unique, groove oriented  House music not limiting himself to one specific genre.

Italian one stop shop for feel good vibes, NICEPEOPLE return this December 7th with a fantastic release from singer, songwriter, Khadeeja Grace. The three track EP entitled “Gotta Paint” contains one original from the female artist, and two killer remixes from Giuseppe Scarano and Bari based, Soulvibe Inc. Classy, deep and emotive music from all involved. 

Expressing herself via the forms of words, sounds and rhythms is something Khadeeja Grace seems to accomplish with ease and a certain tenacity, and this is no different in her title track “Gotta Paint”. The Chicago based producer makes this an easy on the ears affair, her distinctive silk like vocals carry the track, as a breezy and laidback house beat works its magic, clean percussion standing out here. It’s almost impossible not to smile when listening to this one, lifting the mood of the listener in an instant. 

Next up is Giuseppe Scarano’s 90s mix, an illusive house track spreading the message of the label direct from the founder. This remix is almost seven minutes of nostalgic bliss, strongly representing the 90s narrative of big chunky drums and warm and infectious bass lines.
