Why'd you only call me when you're high

At the age of 10, Louie was gifted an acoustic guitar for Christmas, inspired by the likes of Van Halen and Mark Knopfler, Louie had high aspirations.  Determined not to ask for the financial support of lessons from his parents, Louie is entirely self-taught, his passion and determination the driving force behind his learning.  
After a brief band experience as front man of youth band The Black Vaults, Louie decided to go it alone two years ago, pouring his energies into the creative process of song-writing that he so loves.  Now with an album’s worth of songs to his name, Louie is a proficient and contemporary singer songwriter, using his strumming patterns and no pick to achieve his individual, understated yet sharp style.  
With influences from rap to rock, Louie’s positivity and life experience story telling will strike a chord with other young people.  As Louie goes into his final year at school and beyond, he is determined to make a career in music.  Louie hopes to take his songs to wider audiences and is keen to explore all opportunities for gigs and festivals.  Louie says, “I’d love to be able to create, record and perform for a living.  I don’t care much about fame or celebrity culture – I’d just love to wake up and do what I love for a living.”
