I first bumped into Affani at Pikes about three years ago at one of our Music For Freaks parties. After conversing in the language of house music for a lost hour or so it became evident that Affani should be one of the MFF tribe. He kept his promise from that night and began sending me some great house music (and a cheeky little remix of Creeps which we included in our re-released Creeps EP last summer).
One of the tracks he sent me which immediately screamed out MFF was a track called You Don’t - a pure classic. He then swiftly followed this up with an absolutely fabulous remix from our old friend Hector Moralez who has already made us some amazing music including the Fries & Bridges EP, which he co-wrote with Phil Weeks and his remix of Jozef K’s ‘Rudy and Marlow’s Theme’.

Affani has already been making his mark with superb remixes for DJ Sneak, Todd Terry, Cafe Del Mar and of course Freaks as well as releasing on a host of labels including VIVa Music and Jesse Perez’ Mr Nice Guy label.

As we all know, there have been all sorts of hiccups and problems over the last year and despite everything I’m super proud to finally announce the release of this EP. The original is pure MFF simplicity and perfection… With remixes from Hector, Gaby M and myself, I hope you enjoy this release.

Danny is a young Israeli producer based in Tel Aviv. He proved his latest talent with us with his incredible EP. A deep, profound and soft music that will appel to all of you. We feel very lucky to have him on our on Fantastic Friends Recordings and we know that he will not disappoint you.
He also has by his side Manuel de Lorenzi to complete this EP. Producer since almost 15 years, he signed on massive label music such as « Rhythmetic, EarlyDub or Catwash ». Then in 2013 he started his very own lable known as "Monday Morning" and signed different artists : Chad Andrew, Proudly People and Dan Noel ». We feel very pround for having him on the new EP.

With another bumper selection of new music, Street Tracks Imprint Vol. 11 continues to shine a spotlight of new and emerging artists across the house and electronic dance spectrum.

Pumping future house vibes are served up by Ben Walsh on ‘Mercy’, and rolling breakbeats and emotive energies are conjured up on Sam T Harper’s ‘Say It’.  Heavy, percussive tribalism is at the heart of Risque De Choc’s ‘Rue De Martyrs’, and a collaboration between under_score and Raw Underground delivers the industrious vitality of ‘Eden’.

Matt Egbert’s ‘Be Together’ is a sophisticated four to the floor jam lit up with vocal refrains, and Future Self offers up a darker vibe on the singular ‘10’000 Leagues’.  Di Saronno wraps up this bustling Imprint volume with the shuffling beats and micro jazzy samples of ‘One Million Roses’.

Louie Gomez has been involved in the Chicago house scene since day one; as a House music pioneer Louie Gomez stepped onto the stage of dance music history by discovering, then unknown, Jamie Principle. Louie went on to produce the original Dub Vocal Mix of "Your Love”, an unreleased track of Jamie Principle’s. This House Music anthem, along with another original unreleased production from Gomez entitled “Change”, became staples in Frankie Knuckle's dj sets at the legendary Warehouse and Powerplant nightclubs in Chicago.
After taking some time to hone his skills as an audio engineer at local recording studios in Chicago, Louie Gomez was ready to show his growth as producer/remixer and DJ. His productions aren’t limited to one particular style as he is comfortable producing tracks that are elegant and soulful, to deep house or funky dancefloor excursions, always striving to go beyond the ordinary.
In 2015 he marked the launch of new label Bassment Tapes Records with Jesse Rivera, a multi-media imprint encompassing live dj sets, music videos and a roster of talent signed from the underground house music scene from across the globe. 
Aside from running a label, music and video production, and new for 2020, residency at The Lodge (Chicago) alongside Grand High Priest and Michael Winston. You can also catch him and Jesse Rivera on their new show "Gruvbox" on MOVE Ibiza Radio and his solo spins "Happy Hour" on Sugar Shack Radio.
