Where the majority of music released today abides by a set of norms which become mundane and monotonous as they grow in popularity, the project reveals Loui Lvndns “enlightened” process and dynamic way of redefining what is possible within the space of music in modern day South Africa. 

Hikari seeks to push the boundaries and exude a new creative energy for listeners and musicians alike. 

Hikari is the Japanese word for “Light” and is the title of Loui Lvndn’s debut EP. This project is an evolution in Loui Lvndn's music presenting a first of its kind exploration into the melody of an African aesthetic fusing an unapologetic bend and blend of worldy genres.
