dodgy sounds from the expander... here we have a guitar low E played a harmonic at the 12th fret at about 3 seconds. Expander circuit is in from the beginning, threshold quite low. You can hear fizzy distortion. I switch out the expander at about 13.5 seconds just for a moment, so you can hear the guitar sound clear as a bell without the expander in circuit. Then at about 26 secs the signal is quiet enough that the expander starts to take notice, noise sound becomes more aggressive. Eventually expander light comes on and by about 50secs or so the expander has a proper go at quieting the signal without its own squeals getting in the way. at 53secs and 58 secs or so I switch the expander circuit out and back in again, so you can hear the baseline noise.
