Here's my first metal demo EP (although technically, this would be considered more of an LP in terms of length and design)...these are all songs I wrote years ago and all of which were recorded sometime between 2016 - 2018. None of these are recent. I decided to finally put them all together into a cohesive format. This is entirely separate from the instrumental album I'm currently working on.

A lot of the riffs and ideas on this EP I've had since my late teens, specifically the main intro riff in the title track, "Welcome to the Neighborhood", which I wrote when I was around 17 years old.

This is a concept album that tells a story about a small fictional town that is terrorized by a group of juvenile delinquent misfits who seemingly become more of a growing menace and darker presence as the album progresses. Yet certain supernatural elements surround this group and the circumstances that their victims find themselves in, all of which manifests differently in each song. I have written some lyrics so far and other elements that the story deals with are the perception of time and the concept and correlation of the afterlife/dreams.

Also, a lot of the musical themes present on this album appear on my standalone song "The Wheel " which sort of acts as a spiritual successor and finale to this EP.

The main reason I call this an EP is mainly for two reasons. Firstly, I wrote these songs with vocals in mind, one day I plan on returning to these to have vocals put to them and second is the mixes are sort of all over the place. At that time I wasn't really as involved with trying to mix properly so I'd like to re-record these one day as well.

Welcome To The Neighborhood Demo EP

This is my 2nd album release titled "The Wheel." I originally wrote the titular track back in 2018 and recorded it in 2019, releasing it in March of 2020. It was initially going to be a standalone song, but I decided I wanted to tell a larger story, so I came up with an idea to make each song a "fragment" of a whole so to speak. The original song clocks in at over 20 minutes so I certainly had enough material to work with. I started remixing certain sections of it into separate songs, some sections completely reversed, some parts I actually learned backwards and re-recorded which was really fun. They come to a full circle at the end of the album when the song fragments appear in a cohesive 20-minute finale.

This story follows a group of young childhood friends as they grow into adulthood and navigate through the experiences that must come with that; the wistful memories of their youth, the death of childhood, love and loss and growing older. However, they eventually discover they are in an illusionary world controlled by an ever-looming omniscient super A.I. intelligence directly affecting every decision or even thought one may have, keeping them locked in an endless loop. Ultimately the friends find their true path and break free after a perpetual night of no reprieve.

This concept album sort of acts as a spiritual successor to my Demo EP "Welcome to the Neighborhood", as some similar musical themes appear in both, mostly used to foreshadow this one.

Here's a little Jazz/Funk/Fusion project I was working on. I threw in a saxophone solo near the end of the song. Recorded my guitar solos along with some of the clean leads on my schecter custom. Recorded some of the pianos line in, the rest used are some e pianos, hammond organs and jazz grands. I used 8dio Tenor Saxophone for the sax solo.

Here's a guitar jam/solo I wrote that takes inspiration from the guitar solo section of Poison's Bodytalk, as I am a huge Richie Kotzen fan, he's one of my favorite guitar players. I made this long jam and just free-styled over it. I added a lot of layers with the use of organs/electric pianos and some trumpets. 
All guitars, bass guitar and organs/pianos were recorded by me, as well as the programming for the drums, trumpets and sax.
My go to guitar for the entire song was my schecter custom
