Heaven On Earth

This is a cover version of "Sugartime", performed by Louise du Toit and her band, "The Sha-Sha Sisters and the Dukes". The recording was done at Tube Studios in Corfu, Greece, in the summer of 2015.

The song was originally made famous by the McGuire Sisters in 1958.

Sugar Time

This recording of Puccini's "O Mio Babbino Caro" is dedicated, with great respect and endless gratitude, to my late father and late mother, who both had beautiful voices and to whom I owe my love and appreciation of music for. They met in South Africa when they were first graders and as young students, they joined an opera choir together. 

My mother, a bright coloratura, became a teacher for children with special needs, choosing a career away from the limelight and always reminding me that family life comes first. My father, a romantic tenor, was a creative artist and photographer who also designed and built the most beautiful stage sets. Since the age of 21, he was a vivid record collector, with more than 4000  records in his collection when he passed away at 66. He especially adored Rossini, Donizetti, Bellini, Verdi and Puccini - the masters of Italian opera, who also became my favourite opera composers.  

The recording was done in 2016 at Tube Studios in Corfu, Greece.  Louise du Toit was photographed by Thomas Haas of Studio Kerkyra.  

O Mio Babbino Caro

"Snootie Cutie Chirp" is an original composition written in 2015 by Louise du Toit. It was performed by Louise and her swing band, "The Sha-Sha Sisters and the Dukes", and the recording and mastering was done at Tube Studios in Corfu, Greece. Louise du Toit: "I WILL LOVE YOU was originally inspired by the courage and strength of Aristea, an amazing human being and a friend of mine, whom I met in Greece. I later also dedicated this song to the late Anna Bellin, a few days after she tragically passed away. I did not have the honour to meet her in person, but I was blessed to know her through our mutual work in defence of animals and the environment. She was a very special and courageous human being, beautiful in every way and an inspiration to everyone around her. Her presence on earth will be sincerely missed.

I Will Love You

The South African artist, Louise du Toit, is an award-winning musician, singer, composer, arranger, lyricist, writer, actress and painter. Apart from her solo career as a performance artist, she is also the front singer of "Fuego de Lunar", the latter with which she has given more than 5000 performances the past years. 

Several of her songs have been released as music videos and her music is currently being broadcast by radio stations all over the world.

Louise is also a dedicated animal advocate, using her music and art to spread a worldwide message of peace and environmental and wildlife preservation, working towards the well-being of all living creatures on earth.
