This is a song I wrote to Christina Tan's lyrics in the Talent is Timeless Songwriting workshop on 16/4/22 when we wrote music to other people's lyrics.  I have amended the last line in the fourth verse to allow the song to scan.  I wrote this 2 days after my Father had passed away and I was instantly drawn to these lyrics because they were perfect because my Father was Jewish and there were Hebrew Words included in the song.

A song written on one of the Talent Is Timeless Songwriting Workshops on 14/5/22  when we were given the subject of writing a song about what we really want.
This is one of the songs I recorded at Abbey Road Studio on 13 October 2022 with the Talent Is Timeless Team.  Lyrics below:-

I wrote this song in August 2020 as a tribute to the memory a neighbour after he passed away unexpectedly.  I gave his wife a recording of the song on the first anniversary of his passing to mark the occasion.

Love Never Dies (Acoustic Version) (Recorded at Abbey Road Studios)

This is my first single release.  The song was written at a Talent Is Timeless songwriting workshop where we were set the challenge to write a country song.  I don't think this has turned out as a country song.  We were also given the line "It would sure be cool" as the inspiration for the lyrics and I thought of a romantic scenario where a lady was wanting her man to declare his undying love for her from the roof tops and so the song was born.  The cover depicts the couple dancing on the roof tops celebrating their love to the world.

I am a  raw untrained singer/songwriter.  I allow my songs to speak for themselves and take centre stage beyond my image and lack of expertise.   I started writing songs when I was 17 and have been writing on and off ever since.  My songs sometimes have a message, can be personal, a story about someone else's experience and are often written for someone.  I share some of my life through my songs along my time line, a diary of some of my experiences from 17 till now. I am currently a member of Talent Is Timeless an age positive web based community for the over 50's who write their own songs.   Many of my recent songs have been written from their workshops on subjects we have been set to write about. The purpose of my songs is to touch the hearts of my listeners and to express and share my experiences of the different shades of love that have touched my heart and soul.
