Louise Adams first came to the nation's attention as runner up on the 7th season of Australia's X Factor in 2015 riding a roller coaster of TV, radio and stage appearances in the ensuing year thereafter. She has spent the past two years performing at some of Australia's largest music festivals, honing her songwriting and will release new music in 2018.

Her unique vocals are powerfully female; delicate and vulnerable one moment and soaring with grit and power the next, but all the time remaining captivating as hell! Her songwriting and music exudes fresh soulful vibes with flecks of grunge, alt country, and indie pop. Whether on stage solo or with her talented Band, Louise cherishes her time on stage and is genuine and true with her songs and how she performs them; a rare quality not lost on her audience. Louise is regularly joined on stage by guitar virtuoso and fellow singer/songwriter TULLARA, and when together they create undeniable energy, chemistry and talent on stage.

With festivals like Adelaide Fringe, Woodford, Bendigo Blues & Roots, Tamworth, and Blenheim Fest under her belt, Louise consistently captivates audiences, no matter what the stage; from her clutch performances on X Factor in front of a national TV audience of 1.5 million, to playing to 8000 people in her home town of Mount Gambier, or an intimate theatre performance. 
 
Louise's passion to connect with her audience is intrinsically linked to her desire to tell a story and write great songs. She treats her music with integrity and rawness, allowing her songs and writing the time needed to evolve, which has seen her dedicate much of the last 18 months to songwriting, recording and acquiring new stories. This mission of sorts has taken her to studios around Australia and the US to experiment and create with talented creative producers, such as Kevin Dailey (Grammy award-winning producer in Nashville), Mark Myers (Middle East, Timberwolf) and more recently Greg Walker (Paul Kelly, Jen Cloher, Machine Translations, CW Stoneking).
 
As one of the interesting and unique female artists emerging in Australia right now, Louise Adams should not be missed.
