Fight It

This was wrote back in Uni relating to nights out which would thouroughly enjoy, but towards the end of it all there would be the situation of few too many drinks hitting the head, leading to being slightly lost, walking in the dark alone following lights home.

Superwoman

Well here it is! Was written a long while back, so not exactly sure what based it on. Since has become a mystery in more way than one! With an interpretation that the lady who became a mistress, without knowing, goes missing and the person that knows is unsure whether to share. Dun dun dun. There will be a chapter 2 to come for sure! Aha.

Mistress

We all need something back in our lives. For me when over in america I realised it was my family and friends, british tea and bacon alongside playing music. Aha. My mate just loved wine and hated parts of his degree so after a chinwag I managed to write COME BACK in the view of wanting somethings to return. Closing doors on what and where at currently to re-live the favourite remedy.

During studies way back when, I had numerous crushes. Then after my trip to America, realising I had to create music again, I sat and wrote a subtle story where the person fancied, ends up choosing someone else. No names or exacts as used my love for rich tea biscuits and a brew as disguise.

Rich Tea Biscuit

The mind plays things over and over, but not actually taking action. When revisited it in 2016 I added a part about belief too, finally finding reason for things and the reason for taking it a step at a time. Action over thought!

Can't Stop Thinking About

This links to the negnet view of happenings and expectations linking to depression and avoidance over progression. What see around, can interpreted/ adjusted depending on personal perspective and feelings. For example jealous of someones achievement when really annoyed been putting stuff off as scared and won’t admit it. Hate of what created as still not the best. Or even uncertainty of what truly want as a perceived view of what should want. When one gets lost in the downward spiral its not nice, so have to realise the importance to admit to oneself any issues and accept them over avoiding, allowing it to get worse.

Faded Away

Louise and The Feathers brings unique indie, folk, slight rap tap vibes similar to Amy McDonald, Tracey Chapman, KT Tunstall, Jodi Mitchell, Florence and The Machine and Paolo Nutini.
From Birmingham originally, she moved to Wales when 9 and has been writing and playing ever since. Revisiting early written originals, she decided to start a fresh using her middle name “Louise” representing the roots of passion, alongside “and the feathers” linking to spiritual mindful perceptions and a love of nature. 2019 she shared Window View EP, with Rich Tea Biscuit having ‘A powerful, distinctive vocal line (that) storms through the track with great ease’ (Moggblog). Since which been getting awesome feedback at gigs including Cwmaman Fest, Landed Fest, Cwrw, Asylum Birmingham, Camper Site, Yha Broadhaven, Camper Jam and more, alongside making progress on new EP (in Cardiff) ‘Reflection’. With tour on the wish list she did 4 weeks of open mic and venue hunting across various places including Bristol, Manchester, Sheffield, Liverpool and Birmingham getting great push for 2023. With 'Reflection' singles being shared and tour happening soon!
