Choppy waters 💧 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Nothing is as it seems

Textasy's DJ set recorded live at Клуб's showcase at Mutabor on 19.10.2019.

The twelfth Klubkast was recorded by our Texas friend and likeminder Dustin Evans, aka TEXTASY, with whom we'd been in contact for quite a while: after all, there was just one sticker in our DJ booth that somebody put up during a wild night, and it had his alias on it. However, Dustin only managed to visit us much later, nearly 6 months after the closing of the venue, and not for the worst, of course.

We strongly believe that life has it's ways, and tend to do research of not only music gengres or DJ skills, but also personalities / messages when it comes to inviting someone to, essentially, our home and community. That is exactly why there is always a feeling of mutuality and a shared cultural code that transcends borders and nationalities at the end, and with Dustin, it was felt even more so than ever. 

This mix was recorded at our important October event at Moscow's Mutabor, and became a hands-down highlight of the night. It's fast, raw, overdriven, eclectic, sometimes clipping, but that's just how we like it. Packed with ghetto, jungle, juke and "that Britney Spears remix", it was arguably one of the top 3 sets we ever hosted. And who knows, maybe that's also a good time to hint at the next Клуб vinyl release.
