Yousef and his Circus Recordings label have publically voiced that they encourage demos from everyone, not just from label mates Carl Cox, Green Velvet or Reboot et al, but from all comers, to be sent to the Circus Recordings Facebook message inbox .

This track from the demo sending newcomer Louis Proud opens 2015 for Circus in positive way, not only for the artist that took the time to reach out, but ironically as the title of the lead track shows Yousef his true to his word to the demo sending hopefuls.

In its original version Louis cultivates a hybrid of house, techno, garage and even r&b textures in a truly original sounding way. As moving as it is quirky, another musical maneuver for Circus. 

Opening proceedings Toronto legend Nathan Borato delivers an explosive remix, sharp drum, heavy toms, hooky yet nasty, and featured on Carl Cox’s recent live essential mix.

Next Art Departments label protégé Maher Daniel strips back his version No.19 style, filling his composition with melancholic moments and a pondering sentiment. 

Last but far from least is one of 2014’s success stories, Bontan. With his firing tech house take on the original he shows once again why he deserved multiple beatport number one’s in the last 12 months.

Louis Proud is a dance music artist from England. Collecting Vinyls in the late 90s from record shops all over the UK and learning his trade on Technics 1200s whilst experiencing the electronic music scene from the dancefloor at some of the most famous clubs, events and DJs. 
His dedication and passion paying off with gigs warming up for some of his favourite headliners such as Eddie Halliwell and Dave Clarke.
Taking all that early experience and knowledge into a more creative role with producing dance music. Genres in and around Electro, House & Techno. Creating covers and originals, including writing his own music, recording his own instruments and vocals. His style and sound constantly evolving through out his inspiring journey.
That growing dedication and passion with the dance music scene lead onto setting up his own record label and events. The label and events featuring many well respected and established electronic artists from all around the world between 2008-2018. Selling the brand/business on in 2018.
Louis has performed all around Europe, at some of the biggest clubs and events, Incl. Godskitchen at air, Lightbox London and Es Paradis Ibiza.
Louis's long & impressive list of labels releasing his music on includes the likes of; Ministry of Sound, Spinnin Records, Hed Kandi Records, CR2 Records, Trax Records, Baroque Records, Simma Black & Yousef's mighty Circus imprint, Circus Recordings. Which saw his track & remixes played regular by DJs on BBC Radio 1 for weeks!!!
