My first time legally playing out and recorded.  Guest mix for Paul Kershaw's Galaxy FM show.  This set got me a set and bi-monthly residency playing for Eyecon @ Dance Academy.

My debut set for Uprising, thanks to the legends that are Topgroove, Jake Nicholls and Ben Invader.  Heard lots about these events and bought some tape and CD packs when I was in my foundation year at Uni, getting in touch via Myspace (remember that?!).  Made some very good friends over the years as a result and was honoured to play for them.

Mix from the archives I've just copied over from CD and have just uploaded for you all.  Can't believe this is 20 years old next month.  

One of my first mixes just before I started playing out regularly.  Recorded when I lived in Birmingham (with my bedroom literally overlooking Spaghetti Junction) during my Uni days.  

Mixed using 2 x Gemini PT1000s and a Gemini BPM 250 mixer.  They went to +10% so I took full advantage of pitching stuff up.

Lots of techno and trance promos from when I was writing for a fair few mags and websites, as well as records I bought from Three Shades / Smoking Vinyl / Juno and German Trance on here.

Louk - February 2005 (Promo Mix)

Recorded live at Timewarp Saturday 12th April 2025 using an ambient recorder in order to try and capture the whole atmosphere, Timewarp are happy to present “The Live Sets”. As with anything live there can be discrepancies in sound and these recordings are no different but they have been mastered in order to try and provide the best audio experience we can. Timewarp is a vinyl only night based in Bournemouth, UK showcasing local talent and legends from the past 30 years bringing you the best in Trance, Hard Trance, Techno and Hard House.

This recording is from Timewarp resident Lewis Mann. His recent performances for Timewarp have seen him closing the night with both Hard House & Techno sets. This time around he was back on warm up duty and eased everyone in with a brilliant blend of Progressive Trance and deep Techno. Another great example of Lewis’ versatility as a DJ and why we at Timewarp are so pleased he handed in a demo CD at our first ever event.

The godfather "think tank" still bellows its relentless signals and warnings infiltrating every corner......if we get close enough to the cities and factories where the machines are "Birthed" that is. Days and night no longer have a definite separation, they merge into one forever abyss of darkness and suffering. When the silence comes so does the dread, the pitiful mourning and distant cries for all this to end........the wastelands bring peace but provides no shelter.....the long periods of silence are a welcome treat on the hardest of days - this is my church - this is where I feel most hopeful that this may one day end....
